at an 85 rating over his last nine starts, does he need to get better? He's additionally 8-1. He's doing exactly what he was brought in here to do, save Fisher's job again. He's probably in the top 10 qb's over his last 10 games. The skeptics are dwindling because they have no numbers, no losses, no way to comprehend how he has taken a losing franchise for the second time, and turned it into an instant winner.

He can and will restructure if the Titans want to keep him. Vince knows he won't get more money anywhere else.

there's always the possibility of an uncapped year too. if bud doesn't mind paying his favorite player all that moolah in an uncapped year he could get it all...

    i doubt it though.

We need to keep him. He is getting it together now. We do not want draft another QB that ultimately might be a bust or wait another 3-5 years to get it together.

Also whats with restructure his contract in 2010? Thats an Un-Cap year, so restructuring his contract for less has no point. So everyone stop talking about restructuring his contract, besides we have to much money to spend even with the cap. If Bud choosed to, he can buy us a championship next year but knowing Bud wouldn't do that for us Titans fans LOL. Watch Jerry Jones go crazy.

In 2 games he's yet to throw for 200 yards in either, and has 1 TD. The guy has Super Bowl written all over him, eh? I'm amazed at the lack of standards some Titans fans have for their team.

I don't know why you would want to get rid of him at this point. Just to gamble the next 3-4 years on another first round QB? This is only his second week even taking reps with the first team offense. He's played well in both games and flashed that first round talent we drafted him for. He gets us to .500 or better, you can guarantee he's here next year with all his money. Fisher is the one that should be worried about his deal. These shouldn't be our first two wins. Should he be let off the hook again?

Threw for 1, ran for 1. 2 TDs. But hey, who's counting.

Here are my questions since you seem to be so against Vince:

    1) Whats our record in those 2 games, as apposed to our previous 6, when he didn't play?

    2) How many points have we scored in those 2 games, compared to our previous 6?

You can hate all you want, but its obvious you just don't like the guy and have no realistic argument. He's made short throws, long throws, runs, plays under pressure. He only threw the ball 19 times today, you expect 300 yards?

I understand your post but I think it is a bit unfair. It has been a year and a half since he started last. He is bound to be rusty. Also he still hasn't started for two full years yet.

Hopefully as he gets more experience and gets comfortable, the coaching staff will do more with him. I think right now we are being pretty conservative with what we ask him to do. He will either figure it out and and excel or he will continue to make the same mistakes.

I personally believe that he will get it all going and if the coaching staff turns him lose we see something pretty special.

Anyway... that is just my 2 cents.

I think every game he wins with minimal mistakes is another nail in fisher's coffin as titans head coach. For every bit of happy Bud is right now there has got to be that little voice in the back of his head tha says "what if we wouldve started him earlier". Would it have had the same effect of lighting a fire. If there is a viable candidate to replace him, I think fish is gone. I also think Young reworks his contract into something more feasible and is here for the long haul as long as he has no mental breakdowns on the field for the remainder of the season.
