I give a lot of credit to Fish Dinger and Cecil. It's almost like they were reading some of our discussions...they ran plays that utilized Vince (bootlegs, screen, curl routes, QB draws, etc) and on defense they blitzed to create pressure and had tighter man coverage (much love to Finny and Fuller, having them back made a considerable difference). The players executed a well coached game, and when that happens, we will be fine.

In my honest opinion, 127 yards against one of the WORSE pass defense in the league, is, pretty sad if you ask me. I still believe they are playing Vince is to up his trade value, and get a 2nd round pick, instead of a 3rd round pick. Kick his cry baby, quitting, child like rear out of here.

He had a single running back that carried the ball 20 times and gained 220 yards. Doesn't that factor into the need for Vince to throw for more yards?

I look at the 83% completion and the lack of turnovers when I analyze his performance. In order for him to get more yards passing he would have had to stop handing it off to CJ, which would have been moronic the way he was playing.

I'll give you that and like I've said before since we really have nothing to lose at this point we need to give him some real play time and find out if he can finally turn into that superstar #3 pick we drafted him to be. With that said, my opinion is that he will never live up the hype and expectations so if he can't produce with this new "lease on life" we need to move on. Even Warren buffet knows when to cut his losses and move. He keeps his winners and cuts his losers. He also looks to buy an investment below it's intrinsic value, as far as I can tell at $14 million against the cap VY is WAY over his intrinsic value unless he can show us something spectacular over the next 9 games. If he doesn't I just don't want to keep hearing that he still needs time to develop after this season is over. I don't think he has what it takes to ever be an elite NFL QB that's worth that kind of money.

As far as the Eli analogy, no matter how bad things got Eli has never quit on his team. Besides not being a quitter he's also intelligent...unlike VY. He's still not that consistent and I doubt he'll ever be Payton but at least he has a brain and good character. It's a little harder to give up on someone with those qualities and his pedigree.

I know the VY fans don't like to hear this but Eli had one of the highest scores on the Wonderlic getting a 39 and our buddy Vince scored a 6....again a 6!! I think you could sign your name and get a 6 so at a position that you usually expect one of your most intelligent players we have a guy that by all accounts is basically a retarded quitter leading our offense!! You can't couch intelligence, if you're smart you're smart if you're stupid you're stupid and no matter how you slice it VY is a stupid quitter and nothing can fix that. We'll see if his athletic abilities can make up for his lack of internal fortitude and intelligence but I seriously doubt it.

Coltkiller's response to this ordinarily would cover it but given the stupidity of it, I couldn't remain quiet.
    So I'll reiterate...
CJ ran for 220 yards and two TDs.
CJ ran for 220 yards and two TDs.
CJ ran for 220 yards and two TDs.

What part of that do you fail to understand? What part of CJ running for 220 yards and two TDs that kept Vince from having to throw more than 127 yards fails to catch your attention? Vince didn't need to throw anymore.
Thats 447 yards of total offense. What more do you expect? :irked:
Stop looking a gift horse in the mouth...or go root for another team.

Seriously. You are starting to sound like a broken record.
The Wonderlic thing is getting just as old as your feeble and insufferably persistent attempts to persuade us that the content of your posts isn't total bullshiz.
First off, it was a 7 on his score, but that's a moot point. What is noteworthy is that Dan Marino scored a 9. I guess he sucks too. Oh, and on the other end, Joey Harrison scored a 35; he's been picking defenses apart this year too...oh wait.
But you're right. Low Wonderlic scores guarantees you'll be a flop QB and high scores guarantee you'll be an HOFer. S....T....F....U already.

Apparently you can't...particularly in your case. Your intelligence definitely seems to be taking a nap on the couch.
You continue to dig yourself into a deeper hole and are losing credibility with each and every post of yours.

Vince would have to play completely lights out for us to get anything close to 2nd round pick for him. And if he's playing lights out why would we want to trade him?

And as others have said, when your RB runs for 220 yards and your team is leading the entire game you don't need to do a whole lot of throwing. Nitpicking about how many yards Vince threw for in a 30-13 win where CJ broke a franchise rushing record is absolutely ridiculous.

Ok, so shoot me, I had ONE typo. I know the difference between coAch and coUch. You're right, it is getting old but and I'm surprised how you VY lovers can't just admit he's stupid. It's not just his intelligence (or lack of) that I have a problem with it's his character (or lack of) combined with his intelligence. I know the truth must hurt but don't shoot the messenger. Trying to attack me personally doesn't change the face that you're beloved star is a STUPID QUITTER. There's no way way around those FACTS! He could turn into Tom Brady from here on out (Yeah right...lol) and bottom line those two thing aren't going to change and I guess I hate the fact that a guy like that is heading up my favorite team.

Oh, here's the link to the USA Today article that stated he got a 6:

    http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/draft/2006-03-01-young-wonderlic_x.htm

Here are some telling quotes from that article:

"It's unclear whether Young also has a good capacity to learn."

"Any score less than 15 is extremely low for a quarterback, and most teams want players at that position to score at least a 20."

"teams will have to determine Young's ability to grasp a complex NFL playbook."

"It raises a huge red flag," said Jeep Chryst

Facts are facts, he's an idiot and that will never change.
