There's always an exception to every rule but that's like saying "my grandfather smoked 2 packs a day and lived to be 97 so smoking isn't bad for you"! Heck even Trent Dilfer only had 129 INT's in his 13 year career with 113 TD's and a rating of 70.2. VY's has 23 TD's, 33 INT's and a career rating of 69 so if you think Trent Dilfer sucks, what does that say about VY??? At the pace VY is going, by the time he has 113 TD's he'll have 162 INT's so that tells me he's way worse than a guy you already admitted sucks.

I think it fair to say Kerry is worthless without excellent protection. He has not had much of that this year.

The fact that the line for whatever reason is not as good as last season should decide the QB. I am not a big kerry fan nor a Vnce fan, except they are what we have at this time.

I hope the line does well, the RB,s prosper, the defense shows up and the special teams is actually kind of special and those receivers actually catch more than they drop this Sunday like they did our last game. I can just imagine Kerry thinking who are these guys and where have they been.

It seemed they were absent for the most part in previous games. I believe Vince will give us the best chance to win if they are lackluster again.

Heres wishing good luck to our team and to our new return guys, whichever wins the position.

Man, what a lot of crap, you should be an NFL scout if you can see how VY career is going to play out. Is still very early to know but given that he has a winning record and what he can bring to the field I'm sure that is he continues to improve we are going to see good things coming his way an the team.

I'm not saying I have a crystal ball and can see into VYs future but past performance is usually indicative of future results. It's not like this is his rookie year, it's year 4 and all I've seen is a guy who can't read a defense, tends to throw the ball to receivers wearing the wrong jersey and has the propensity to be a quitter!! Look at Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco, they're only in their second year and I'd take either one of those guys over VY in a heart beat, would you?

Here's one way to find out if you should give up on an investment, ask yourself with what you know today would you still make that investment? In other words would you still take VY as a #3 pick to be your teams franchise QB. If the answer is no, then you should cut your losses and move on. Waiting, hoping and praying that a "bad" investment will finally "payoff" is a sure fire way to losses almost every time.

You can't use that logic because you're going to "Waiting, hoping and praying" about your next qb investment with a rookie qb. You're esentially repeating the same investment. You never know with a rookie qb...go ask this week's opponent, Alex Smith.

Every investment has an element of unknown to it, that's why it's an investment but once you know an investment, or in this case a QB isn't working out you cut your losses and move on. Granted there's no guarantee the next time around either but by your logic you keep what you got even if you know he's a flop because there's no guarantee that the next guy will be any better. That's sounds like good investment strategy:rolleyes:!!
