I hope KC starts, the Titans lose and Fisher gets canned hours after the game. That would make my Sunday.

honestly, what good would that do?

we'd end up with either the guy who is calling plays for an offense that's averaging 14 points a game or the guy who's defense is allowing 33 points a game as the interim head coach.

The season is over anyway, I personally don't want Fisher back next year. In fact, I'd rather him get fired for sticking by KC for so long and not showing any emotion on the sideline as we got slaughtered by the pats.

It honestly makes very little difference to me whether we go 2-14 or 8-8 at this point, especially if we go 8-8 with KC.

change for the sake of change usually isn't a good thing.

i'd rather we keep fisher rather than going with either coordinator if it means we win more games. that is why you play them, just ask herm edwards.

I'll be happy even if Vince comes out and stinks it up...at least then we will know where we stand with him. I'd be happier if Vince came out and stunk it up, than if Collins comes out and lights it up.

You know...Fisher doesn't have to figure out if HE wants to pay millions to Vince next year to keep him around. FISHER isn't pulling his checkbook out to sign on that line...

Bud on the other hand has a decision to make...VY was HIS pick....Bud's rep is on the line with VY now and Fisher is basically telling him to go take a sauna and leave him alone by sticking with KC. In fact..its almost like Fisher is pissed that he isn't getting backed by Bud like he always has and is defiantly sticking with KC in his own mini power struggle game...which he cannot win.

I don't personally think either QB is going to do squat this year with this team...this team as a whole is in shambles and that is coaching across the board....not just Fisher, but the whole staff.

So play VY...yeah, he will probably struggle and look bad at times and good at others and his critics and fans will show up to defend either side...but at least the rest of us who just are not sure what we have in this guy can find out for sure. What better test than to hand him the keys and say...okay...this is why you were drafted...go out and take this team and do what you believe you can do.

However, they have to let him keep the keys...they cannot just yank him out when its looking bad and stick KC in...that accomplishes nothing.

We know the season is lost...might as well see what we have to look forward to next year...draft a QB high or find one in FA...or once and finally freaking for all...is VY capable of being that QB?

    Just do it....

    Buried deep in the PAST?
Maybe it has to do with Vince CURRENTLY not knowing the play book.
    Vince having a crappy attitude.
    Vince sucking everytime he plays.

Yea, practice has something to do with coaches decisions. If VY can't run the plays, can't make good decisions in practice why the heck should Fisher play him? If he also has a bad attitude and doesn't work hard it is a no brainer. If I had a player like that and an owner tried to force me to play him I'd quit (which I hope happens by the way).

Bottom line is if VY looked good in practice, worked hard watching game film and learning the playbook and had a good attitude Fisher might see him as a player that could help win more games. Instead what Fisher sees is a window licking retard who can't comprehend, has a bad attitude and still thiks he should be in the HOF.

Adams Wants Young Starting Versus Jaguars

SUMMARY: Though Coach Jeff Fisher remains quiet as to who his starting QB will be Sunday against the Jaguars, Titans owner Bud Adams says it's time to start Vince Young. "I have been wanting (Fisher) to play Vince Young more because Collins has been having his problems out there," Adams said. "I just think we need to find out how well (Young) can do. If you don't play the guy and lose all your games, it is hard for you to see what he can do for you. Vince has won a lot of games for us." Fisher has said he would not announce his starter for "competitive reasons" but said Kerry Collins had a strong week last week and remains confident in his abilities. Collins currently has a passer rating of 62.0. If Young regains the #1 QB job this Sunday, it'll be against the same team as the last time he was the Titans starter. Against the Jaguars in the home opener of '08, Young had a passer rating of 45.6 and was soundly boo'd by the fans after throwing his second INT of the game. He later was injured and replaced by Collins who has kept the job since.

For some reason I cant pull the article..but from some of the quotes posted I have an idea of what Bud said. But heres my issue...something has to give with VY and JF. How can VY ever truly excell in any capacity if the only one thats willing to give him a chance is the owner and NOT the HC? For any player to succeed..he has to be surrounded by personnel that believe in him...and wants him to suceed. Its extremely clear that JF..for whatever reason..doesnt want to have anything to do with VY. Bud said the exact same thing many of us on this board have been preaching for the last couple of weeks now.."lets see what he can do..we cant find anything out with him on the bench". I think its pretty sad that JF n co wont give him any opportunity particularly given our present record
