I agree with JCBRAVE, keep Munchak, Washburn, McGinnis, Byner and the TE coach. Everybody else can kick rocks and hit the bricks.

Really, Ive got to disagree there. The Broncos went from being 31st in the league in points allowed to first, and went from having 24 sacks all of last year to having 21 in the first 6 games of this year, yet you're going to credit Brian Dawkins for that instead of the DC that has the defensive line playing out of their minds?. Dawk helps, but he is not the main reason that D has turned around. Nolan is.
I would love to see him bring his 3-4 in here as I think Ford would be perfect as an OLB in that scheme. He'd be used the same way Dumerville is this year.

Your probably dead on. Jerry has wanted fish for years. But as I said in another post, let fish wear a redskins jersey, and make fun of the cowboys by saying he wanted to feel like a winner and Jerry will fire him on the spot. No questions asked. Bud gets a bad rap and he may deserve some of it. But Jerry Jones would have already fired fish by now.

fans and media in Dallas aren't as cool as the chilled ones in nashville. They will eat fisher alive, and if he doesn't have a playoff win in the first few years they will drop him like a hot potato. His arrogance won't last long. You win or get out in Dallas. He's had a damn long leash here.

But he can go parachuting, bike riding, mountain climbing, all he likes with that money he'll make his first few years there. He can live a herpes medicine commercial. More power to him. What was that parachuting crap for, anyway?

Bit of background. Never been to America , never had the pleasure of seeing the Titans live but for some reason, or no reason would be closer to the mark , I have found myself supporting the Titans from many miles away. My emotions are swayed by the success or failure of the Titans, which coming from a country who does not play “American” football makes no sense to me either but that’s the way it is.

Anyway, results and recent actions by Fisher has made me wonder about how Americans really feel about their teams. Football is not my first sport . The teams that I follow in soccer and shinty would be higher in my priorities than the Titans but the recent results and actions by Fisher has made my blood boil . I have no connection with Tennessee nor the Titans but wonder how the “true” fans of the Titans can be so passive .

If a Glasgow Rangers manager was seen in a Glasgow Celtic top the city would end up in flames. If any Soccer team started the campaign 0-6 the manager would be sacked on the spot. Newcastle fans protested through the streets of Newcastle over the way their club was run . Aberdeen FC fans got their most successful manager of the last 20 years sacked by continual protests outside the stadium because he wasn’t playing attractive soccer. Liverpool fans have heard that George Gillet and Tom Hicks will be attending the game tomorrow . They plan a mass demonstration to try and force them to sell the club. This is a club who have had incredible success and some wonderful players to watch but the fans don’t feel they are properly backing the club.

What I am saying is that its clear that the embarrassment I feel thousands of miles away must be felt worse by “true” Titan fans and the blame must be squarely placed at the door of Fisher . I personally feel he has hung KC out to dry. KC is good, not great but certainly no -7 yards QB. But because Fisher refuses to put packages together for VY, accept that his coaching staff are not getting the job done on defence, the Titans are 0-6 and KC is as good as finished . I honestly believe that if Fisher had the gumption to consider VY we would have won the Jets game, beaten the Texans and still have an effective game manager in Collins. Instead the franchise looks to be on its knees and Fisher by pulling on that shirt seems less than committed to the cause . No soccer fan in the world would tolerate that kind of humiliation. Just writing this makes me angry .

So is it just a massive cultural difference? Is there a history of organised demonstrations and protest in the NFL? Or do we just wait till the end of the season and hope Bud makes a change?

^I don't get it either. I follow soccer as much as I do american football, and understand the fans are more passionate in that sport than they are about any here- BUT...

Most team's fans would riot here if their NFL coach donned a rival's jersey and made some silly joke about it. Hell- do it in college and your house would be vandalized and you'd be fired.

Funny thing is- if Peyton Manning's goofy arse had never played for UT- everyone would be pissed. Even more of a reason to hate that guy and all the UT Vol fans that pretend to be Titans fans.
