  1. Yes. And he should be fired for doing it.

  2. Yes. It was bad timing and in poor taste but he should not be fired for it.

  3. No. It was just self-depreciating humor at a charity event.

    Wrong.
If Fisher had of just gone and did nothing, most people wouldn't have had a clue it even happened.
Most of the football world knows now.

How many times do you take a simple matter and complicate it by completely blowing it out of proportion with completely irrelevant points?

First, if you are dumb enough to spend thousands, that's on you. You did it and no one forced you. Stop complaining.

Second, just because you buy the merchandise doesn't make you automatically right. A guy with a ferrari isn't given the right to be involved in the decision makings of ferrari.

Third, your last point is so damn stupid it makes little sense to anything. It's not like the team is moving to Indianapolis. It's not like this was done to the franchise.
It was done at a charity event honouring a friend. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Titans organisation directly.

    It's charity. Get over it.
Nothing from the season changes, we are still 0 - 6.

Speaking of ignorant...claiming that 10 people who agree with you = an entire fan base.

If I were you, I wouldn't be telling anyone about having no idea.

It's about 5:30 in the morning and I'm still seeing local and national media attention on "Jersey Gate". I've seen a story about it on the local news and a National TV station.

For all of you that think that everyone that didn't like what Fisher did needs to get a life or are overreacting, why in the heck is this getting so much media attention? There's a reason why it's getting so much media attention. I don't like the fact that Fisher has brought more negative media attention to the Titans organization. But don't worry all of you people that think what Fisher did was great, he said he would do it again if he had the chance. I wonder what jersey he'll be wearing if he gets the chance again? Somehow I think he'll be donning that jersey in a different city while coaching a different team.

The media isn't a representation of the people.

Never said they were, and not sure why this statement is relevant?

Gunny, you might feel a little differently if you lived in Nashville. The Titans are more than just a football team to many who live here.

I have listened to the sound bite again and what he said was, " I just wanted to see what it felt like to be a wiener."

Man I love the www... if someone has the audacity to disagree with you... well they must be morons, idiots, not true fans, have their priorities out of whack, etc. People view and process things differently. Why on earth when someone has a differing opinion than that of your own must he/she be deemed somewhat of a lesser minded individual? I've just never felt the passionate need that's on display here to convert people to my way of thinking and quite honestly am most happy keeping company with people with divergent opinions than that of my own. I'm sure most on here are the same way, but it's not reflected in how they deal with their fellow goTitans members. I know the justification for this in many cases would be, "Well he/she started it first". To me that's about as lame as it gets... you can't let the assholes of the world dictate our behaviour... or else eventually the world will be habitated with nothing but assholes... much like these boards would appear to be at this very moment (and I know for a fact that's not the case).

I think simply the fact that their are obviously many fans who feel put off by the coach's display (whether justified in their feelings or not) indicates that Fisher's lame act was a mistake. Football is a business, in businesss you shoud probably try to steer clear of annoying your most rabid customers (again regardless of whether said custy is justified in feeling the way they do or not). If Fisher doesn't see this, I'm thinking Bud will.
