  1. Yes. And he should be fired for doing it.

  2. Yes. It was bad timing and in poor taste but he should not be fired for it.

  3. No. It was just self-depreciating humor at a charity event.

Definitely the "Feel like a winner" line was the clincher for me. Worthwhile cause? I can't name the cause. Fisher's antics have become the centerpiece, not the charity. I guess it's perfectly acceptable to offend half of your fan base (what little is left of it) as long as it's in the name of charity? He wasn't honoring dungy. He wasn't wearing a tony dungy t-shirt, he was wearing the jersey of a player that is about to rip his team a new buttgap in a few weeks. If he were retired, it would be hilarious,

and I do find it mildly funny that he has the onions to do that in the middle of this poopstorm. Bud must have just told him that his job is secure for the next few years. That's the only way I can justify his reasoning for doing that.

Did he honestly think this stunt would go over well with fans? really?

It's all about the place and time. I can't justify McNair doing a rally in Nashville for the Ravens before a playoff game. If he did it in Baltimore..that's fine.

If Fisher had done this in the offseason before this season, anywhere other than Nashville, before everything got dim for Titans fans, we'd laugh it off.

Bad timing, bad taste in both instances. No tact by McNair or Fisher in these situations. Charity events are where you should put your best face out there, not where you antagonize your supporters.

I'm not really infuriated about this.. Just dumbfounded. I can laugh it off, Just like I'll do to this whole season.

I'm trying to find something to compare this to.... It's like... the current Journey telling Steve Perry to F### off publicly..for charity.

I didn't feel like reading through 11 pages of responses to this but why would anyone seriously be offended by this? Get real! The only reason why some are bothered is because we are losing and Fisher is on the hot seat so it's just people taking cheap shots at him.

Edit: I guess I should have read all the details of the story I was not aware what he had said,"Now I feel like a winner". That on other hand was low! The jersey didn't bother me but with that comment he added with it was wrong. Especially considering we are winless and he isn't exactly a favorite with a lot fo fans right now.

I would kind of think that you kind of lose your right to crack witty little jokes (publicly) about your team when you are winless, and just came off of the worst complete game in franchise history. It's just a stupid, stupid thing to do. Offended or not.. it's dumb.

It's amusing how everyone here is calling the team a bunch of losers and when Fisher confirms it, it's somehow taboo?

I'd be interested to see what the Titan players thought of this. I'm sure none of them would publically say that they didn't like it, but you have to wonder how they really feel.

I want Fisher to show some emotion about the dismal team he has put together. I don't see him on the sidelines running up and down and ripping his headset off. He just stands there with crossed arms looking like he can't wait until the game is over. This has been every game (except the Pitts game) this season. Then he's all "giddy" at a charity event and wears our nemisis' jersey and claims he wants to feel like a winner. I'm so glad that he's dealing with everything so much better than I am. I'm not knocking his supporting Dungy (I respect the heck out of the man) but he could have chosen a better way to do it and Fisher wouldn't have yet another negative thing written or talked about him. Right now the list is getting fairly long. I want to see a total meltdown by Fisher at a press conference or event so that we can have some clips to be seen in beer commercials next year. "We are who we thought we were" kind of stuff! LOL

He's going to get grilled over this, like it or not. Bad timing, bad taste, good event, good intentions, stupid decision.

Me thinks the entire Titans team needs to come out in Colt's jerseys for the Hags game so that we can all feel like winners!

I think it's funny when people have the ego to actually preface their posts by saying "I didn't feel like reading through..." in essence saying, "I don't really give a crap about what y'all think but here's my unique take... blah blah blah" Generally, as in this case, I don't continue beyond the opening sentence.

    Meh... whatevs

After getting a night sleep on this I'm not as flipped out by Fisher's act yesterday... well I guess I am, but not as angry. For better or worse, I'm just fed up with the guy. I was prior to this past Sunday, certainly was after Sunday's debaucle, even more so after Monday's presser... This crap yesterday seemed like a giant "f you" to top things off. I'm shocked at how pissed I was... I mean I was seething. I'm sure there's probably not justification for feeling that way, but never the less that's honeslty how I felt (and I'm generally not a reactionary when it comes to stuff like this).

I think it was a case of:

I'm no Bongo, but a little bird told me that "the players think Fish's act yesterday was messed up". Can't elaborate because that's all I got.

There's no bad blood between those coaches and it's a charity event people

it's just silly and that's about it

if you're really pissed by what a coach does at a fundraiser for charity....you need to reevaluate some of your priorities in life
