  2. Yes. It was bad timing and in poor taste but he should not be fired for it.

  3. No. It was just self-depreciating humor at a charity event.

I'd need another option.... "Should have been fired after Sunday, should be fired for this, should be fired for a myriad other reasons". That'd work.

You know... This might sound weird but alot of professional athletes have seen significant drop offs in their career after a divorce. He was recently divorced and the combo of mcnairs death could contribute to his overall psychological health which is resulting in terrible decision making. The more and more pics and things I read about this incident, the more I have to question his overall judgment as a leader of an organization. You don't ever wear your enemies colors and laugh about it, esp considering the circumstances.

Alot of guys have a certain mindset and its.. "well if you do me wrong, I have to do you wrong.." and maybe he was sending a message to his team.. "You guys quit on me, I'll quit on you." Terrible way of sending a message IMO, if thats what he was trying to do. Forgive me for psychoanalyzing this but this is in terrible taste and just by the amount of buzz this has generated, you can tell that this doesn't sit well with many people.

I'm just trying to come up with some sort of thought process that he could have went through for him to come up with this because this is inexcusable.

Then again, maybe Jeff Fisher wants to get fired but doesn't want to quit because he won't get severance.... You know, why should he waste his time trying to coach a buncha guys that are quittin on him.

When he said now i feel like a winner. That's sort of like a cheap shot at the team. Like saying he wishes he was with the colts because the titans aren't winners.

It amusingly reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when George is trying to get fired from the Yankees.
