"Kerry is our starter; Kerry is not the problem"

He's right. Collins is not the problem. There are MANY problems with this team. Vince Young fans put it all on Collins when they know damn well it's not fully his fault that were 0-5. We have TONS of problems that need to be fixed. TONS.

It just shows you.... The season is over and everyone knows it. Fisher knows it.... the fans know it.... and Collins is still in there. People should realize that if we thought for even a second Collins was the reason were 0-5 Vince Young would have already been in there. I want Vince in there now since the season is over but that still doesn't mean I believe Collins is the reason we blow.... It's not even close to being HIS fault. The team is just terrible this year.

 

yet another game with more INTs than TDs and collins inexplicably gets another pass. we can't score touchdowns, even with good field position. we can't put a single long drive together to give the defense a rest, even though, frankly, they don't really deserve one. it's like watching the 2007 offense all over again, but this time with KFC at the helm.

in the last 8 meaningful games(discounting week 17 in 08) we've scored more than 20 points TWICE.

 

im going to wait until we are 0-6 to get really mad about KC still playing, but if KC is still playing when we are 0-6, with 6 AFC losses under our belt, and 10-6 wont even make the playoffs, then ill be really to murk someone

 

I find this unexpected and strange. But at the same time I've wondered about Fisher's faith in Young. Doesn't seem very good at all.

 

the last straw for me tonight was on two offside penalties, collins throws the ball short of the first down marker, both on third down. it's a free play, take a shot down field. then on fourth and five he throws the ball out of bounds over gage's head.

ridiculous.

 

It's not that KFC is THE problem. It's that the season is lost and do any of us really want a 37 year-old KFC starting for us next year? No. For God's sake let's use this time to acknowledge the gigantic elephant in the room (i.e. evaluate Vince Young). If he sucks, fine. Then we cut ties with him and go for someone in free agency and/or the draft.

 

To be honest in order of problems

1 - Defensive player injuries
2 - Not running enough
3 - Offensive Gameplan
4 - Collins/Reccievers drops

To be honest if we really dont run more, and get healthy, we have no shot

 

Its weird how many holes we suddenly have. I don't see Fisher holding a grudge. I really believe him that Kerry's our best shot. That's not a great thing but who should know better that the guy who watches them practice? The defense is too banged up. The way this team is built, once the defense goes the rest follows quickly. I feel sorry for Kerry. He's trying, maybe too hard now.
