Yeah, the Steelers came out with that no-huddle which has always thwarted our DT rotational defense.

I agree...good for the team to see where we need work by exposing it against one of the few teams we will have to play that might actually be back in the SB hunt. At least the Steelers did not gash us with several screens, though the way our CBs like to play 10+ yds off the receivers those quick outs sure eat us up.

You can bet your :grrr::grrr::grrr: that Manning and Brady will be running that against us as well.
What's the defense's answer for a no-huddle offense, when defense relies on rotating its line to be the most effective?

I see the Pats eating us up with those if we're not careful.

Just because he had a red hat on doesn't make him an idiot. I think some of us may be having a little separation anxiety. Just calm down it'll pass. :wink2:

Seems like Gregg Williams was the last Titan DC to have enough guile to override Fisher's conservatism. I was hoping for more from Cecil to protect his DBs.

A QB is only as good as the O line. If they can't hold, then he has to do what he has to do-throw away the ball. The fact that it happened with the game on the line says much more about the offensive line that it does about him. Besides, as was said, the failure to make two easy field goals is what got us beat.

our o-line wasn't that bad, it was really just David Stewart and Chris Johnson was pretty inconsistent with blocking. that said, Kerry panicked way to early on that last drive, he had Washington WIDE OPEN and he didn't even look. Yeah there was pressure, but you gotta deal with that and make a throw, if he can't do it, then were going to have a tough time winning games because everyone is just going to blitz us.

Re: KC throw-aways on the last drive. Were there not any hot reads on the field anywhere? I'm thinking somebody wasn't cutting a route short when they should've when the Steelers brought the house.

And to add onto that, everyone get's on Vince for not being able to "read the defense"...I was smelling blitz a mile away, If Kerry didn't anticipate it then theres something wrong with that.

The funny thing about your posts are you are acting as if one guy got through and Kerry got scared and threw it away. Each of those plays had 3-4 guys coming through at him.

I honestly put that dead drive much more on Dinger for not adjusting to a quick slant or a screen and the O-line for not giving a bit more time.
