I believe all of we fans need to take a long hard look at what ails this organization. This loss is a typical Titans loss we all know it as it’s happened to us so often over the years. Why does this always happen to us, I’ve pondered this for quite a long time, and I think I have gained a little insight into the problem after watching tonight’s awful performance.

This coaching staff absolutely must be replaced. As long as Jeff Fisher is the head coach we will never win a Super bowl. I realized throughout the game, as I’m sitting on my couch and calling out the exact plays we will run, if I can do it you better believe the Steelers can too. We don’t play to win, we play not to lose and that is a huge fundamental flaw.

The coaching was just pathetic tonight, as in every big game we ever play. If we get the ball inside the 5, its run three times and punt, and we did just that twice. Later Pittsburgh is desperate to stop us and brings basically the whole team three times straight and forces in completions. Has that moron Hiemgerdinger ever heard of a screen or a pass to the flat to the best threat on our team CJ? No, instead he calls plays where Kerry does 7 step drops, all three times????? CJ, our best weapon by far gets only 16 touches?? LenDale was in there way too much, he’s just not a game breaker, and you must have your best players on the field in big games. I know it was Cecil’s first real game calling the plays but c’mon. Ben Roethliswigger makes mistakes only when he’s pressured, and we rush 3 and 4 basically the whole 2nd half! One play was 3rd and 13 and we rush 3!!!! Just ridiculous, if you don’t pressure Rapistberger he’ll eat you up and he did just that.

A lot of you will think I’m crazy for calling for Fisher to be replaced but really take an objective look at the situation, has anything changed at all or is it just status quo? Ask yourself who’s to blame when we continually lose games were we should easily win? The players are not a constant as they are continually replaced the only constant in this equation is Fisher. Mike Shanaahan is just sitting out there watching TV, Bud needs to throw the Farm at him or even Cowher for that matter. I don’t care whom, just someone who has proven they know how to win games they should win.

Fisher wasn't the kicker tonight, or the blocker who let Farrior block the other kick.

When he is, I'll blame it on him.

Fisher has done a great job at managing consistency in the players, but he does a piss poor job at actual coaching at times. at other times he earns his reputation. tonight was not that night.

i'm so baffled as to our defensive strategy in the fourth. if you're not going to blitz, and you KNOW they are running every down, why are you playing a super soft zone when they were dinking and dunking all over us? no adjustments. steelers lost their best player and still make the appropriate adjustments to win.

i like fisher but i wish he'd grow a pair.

And we proved we can hang with the best in the league. The other teams in our division have to play them too. If the coin toss went our way, it'd be a different outcome. Coaching had nothing to do with it. If Gage catches balls thrown to him on 3rd down, if Bironas makes kicks, if we have less stupid penalties, we win by a few TDs. None of these are coaching decisions. They are bad execution.

observations our ST's flat out suck. Cant cover, cant return, cant block, penalties. Sorry Lowry I think you need to go. we need an actual return man and that would be a good start and we can go from there.

    ummm this is professional football.

you make adjustments according to what is going on and what isn't. we didn't do that. we backed off and started playing this soft game where we seemed more concerned about not getting burned instead of closing out the game. we didnt adjust in the fourth quarter. we were getting destroyed on the short passes. this was obvious to everyone but our coaches. only reason it went to overtime in the first place was a miracle griffin play.

I wish Chuck Cecil would have sent more than 4 man blitzes the whole 4th quarter and OT.

I'll agree that we do play way too conservative at times and it seems like we play not to lose, rather than playing to win.

From what I remember, their only touchdown was a not-so-short pass....

You're missing the point. Yeah we can hang in there with good teams, what does it matter if we can't beat them in big games? Hanging in there is par for the course with this team, if that's OK with you I can assure you that you're in the minority.
