Bought it at MacAuthority...it's been handled by many, many names.

I totally love it, but there are times when I wish I had a Strat's vibe... but I HATE the Strat neck.

Mine is turquoise... beautiful. Unfortunately, the website pics aren't even reasonably close to the actual color.

 

I am a big fan of Japanese Ibanez. I customized my RG1570 and put some good pups in. I also just got an Edwards Snapper made by ESP... Pushed just over a grand though...

Depends, I guess... I always lean toward a good ole American Standard strat. I wouldn't mind adding a Les Paul - the "studio" editions go from under $800.

But if I were going to add to my collection, I wouldn't mind picking up something totally different like a hollow body Gretsch

Avvie, you use a guitar synth too? My band doesn't have a bassist, I use my roland Gr-20 for the bass with my guitar, and it sounds dead-up like a bass. What do you use?

 

Nick, it'd be more accurate to say tha I own a guitar synth. I noodle with pianos on it, and I've used it to arrange horns and strings, but I've only done it on a couple of unfinished projects.

Mine operates through a GI-20 also, and I use it to control softsynths and samples in Apple's Logic 7 software. Right now my puter is dead :cry: ...busted cap on the logicboard, and my warranty is expired. If I ever get it fixed, i'm thinking I'm gonna experiment more with the GI-20 and see how naturally expressive I can get it.

i knew it was just a matter of time until someone posted the synyster gates custom.

i've played a couple of used ones at guitar center. it's a good guitar, but i will never buy one because of the floyd rose bridge. you'd be better off getting the zacky vengeance custom if you've never dealt with a FRB before.

the white one looks sexy though....
