Ramsey threw for a high percentage but he never threw the ball down the field. He didn't make any bad plays though. I voted for Young because he did throw a great TD pass and he was still a threat to run even though he didn't capitalize on it - which is becoming a huge problem for him and I can't figure it out. Young wins by a very slim margin this week. Next week? Who knows...

  2. Young looked pretty bad out there...

Not that the TD pass wasn't good, but everything else was pretty poor.

    Ramsey was solid.

I don't know whats going on in Vince's head on the field but he just looked so uncomfortable. I think if he could just ease up and relax and have fun we could possibly have our Vince we want back.

Judging on the overall outcome I say Vince since he threw a touchdown pass but if it wasn't for that I would say Ramsey.

    Young's recievers:

    Hawkins
    Davis
    Williams
    Stevens
    Cook

    Ramsey's recievers:

    Hawkins
    Davis
    Williams
    Sevens
    Cook

Exactly the same, so that isn't an arguement.

Vince had troubles at the start because of headset problems and I that rattled him up a bit.

My first reaction was Ramsey. Start to finish I think he outplayed Young clearly, but the more I thought about it I felt like Young recovered ok from the INT which wasn't his fault (although I felt like a floating ball like that should be placed closer to the sideline). He played it safe backed up inside the 20 - and when he got his break on the muffed punt he did finally move the chains and finished with a perfect touch pass.

Ramsey LOOKED much better, but by the time Young got the rust off his end result was better than Ramsey's end result. Young got the points, and he did it with his arm. So a SLIGHT advantage to Young for me. But with a big asterisk that he can't look that rusty ever again.

I guess when you add it up, I like that Young bounced back a bit from the adversity... he knows this is do or die time. First chance he gets to make his case and here's all the things he had to overcome:

    1) He has headset problems, but handles it well and gets the play from the sideline.
    2) His receiver runs the wrong route and makes him look like a fool.
    3) When he gets the ball back he starts on his own 8 yard line (and throws right back to the receiver that caused the INT, although it was incomplete I like the decision)
    4) Titans punt, get the ball back and the next drive he starts from his own 12 and gets backed up to the 5 after a holding call.

Once he gets a decent shot he goes 3-4 for 19 yards and a TD in a 2 minute drill. As much as I initially got on him for what appeared to be a lack of composure and confidence, when I look at the facts he may have actually shown the opposite.

Honestly, I think teams have figured out how to stop Young from running.

Fisher is saying that he is the #2. Good enough for me.

Ramsey looked more in charge, Vince looked confused. Both had Henry in their backfield. I like the fact that Ramsey didn't have a turnover.
