For those of you who were/are ready to throw VY unser the bus and move in another direction at the quaterback position, you may want to check this out and give it a second thought. www.tsn.ca/nfl

I saw the interviews with he, Jeff Fisher and Kerry Collins, and it certainly made me think that his days in Nashville are far from over.

    Thoughts?

listening to Jeff's radio show tonight, he said something interesting in response to a caller who had asked what he thought Vince's trade value was.
not to quote, but it was something alon the lines of 'Vince will ultimately be the QB that we drafted him to be'
I really wish I could remember verbatim what his exact statement was, but it led listeners to believe that Vince was listening, learning and will eventually retake the reigns

It would not load, it said Canada only. The stadium is 30 miles from me and I am not allowed to read about it. WOW!

That's what he's got to say because, right now, there isn't any other future at QB. Maybe Collins plays into '10 but I can't see it going beyond that.

That means Young makes some major strides, the Titans bring in a free agent or they draft a QB in '10. I can see Collins mentoring a rookie QB for a season and then retiring in '11. There should be plenty of QB talent in the '10 draft if it has to go that way.

I can't read it either but so what? What's Fisher supposed to say "well were gonna cut him because he sucks?"

I'm fully confident that this pre season Young will remind us all why he isn't the starter and probably never will be.

While I won't have any sympathy for Vince if he doesn't get it together and gets gone, I'm really pulling for him to be the QB that the Titans drafted him to be.
If Collins gets injured (let's hope not), then I hope Vince can come in more or less seamlessly and start destroying it somethin proper.

LOL at hoping Vince sucks. Like, supposing he does suck, how does that help the team?

Personal dislike for some dude you don't know vs. well-being of your football team:

Which should weigh more in a fan's mind and heart?

Yea I never understood that I don't care who is the Qb of the team all I want to do is win. Football is a team sport I would never want somebody on the Titans to fail hell that sets us farther back. The team common goal is to win a Superbowl. Lets get it done

Well, for those of you who could not get the video to load, I'll give you a brief synopsis of what was said in the clip.

    1) It mentioned everything VY went through since his rookie season. Includiding the loss of his "mentor" and "father figure" Steve McNair. And, how he has almost taken on that same role with Steve's two boys.

    2) Jeff Fisher mentioned that Vince approached him in the off-season as asked him how he could "earn" his job back. To which he to VY to just go out there and have fun and eveverything would take care of itself.

    3) Kerry Collins was asked about his time in Nashville and he said that he wasn't sure how long he'd be there. Or, how long he'd start. But, he said that "anything could happen this season" and he understands that.

And, that about sums everything up.
