Nashville is really on the ups though. Serious corporate business is moving in. As long as AH doesn't put himself in a position where he HAS to sell, then he'll be fine.

Hell no they don't! I would never have a pond/waterfall because my parents had one. As nice as they are, they are stupid to maintain.

One thing my Dad taught me that stuck, "the more things you have, the more you should expect to break."

And yeah, as nice as landscaping looks, never consider it to add tremendous value to your home.

Who cares about Haynesworth? He's going to be another highly paid Redskins free agent who wont come close to living up to his contract.

Fat al isn't gonna get lazy or stop working. He's gonna work his butt off but not produce. Albert was succesful here because he drew the dbl team and helped our DE and we ran stunts and things to move him around. The skins will prob try to use him like a every down lineman and end up tiring him out before the 4th. Then their screwed.

The whole interview sounds petty. Much of it sounds like BS.
He got a ton of money.....good for him.
He had two really good seasons..... both were "contract years".
He will play well his first year as a Redskin and then....all bets are off.
He mentioned the defensive guys that the Titans let go in the past.
Looking at their production after they left TN......seems to me that the Titans were pretty smart about it in the end and Albert's comparison looks pretty dumb.

Even last season there were many times when teams wouldn't double Albert and he'd get shoved around by some nobody and be invisible for a while.

When the Colts came here and had like 2 OL out, I expected AH to have a field day- and yet there he was, not getting a single step of penetration with some guy just standing still holding him off like he was average at best.

All I know is the perception of AH was that he would get fat and lazy if he got a big contract and exactly the opposite is true. The guy looks in unreal shape and will probably dominate for the next few years.

The Titans FO was stupid. They assumed the worst about the guy which is in line with what most of the posters on this board thought. I always thought the opposite was true concerning his attitute and motivation. AH had grown up. The FO had to franchise him because they are morons. No way he would have had anywhere near the contract he has now if we had signed him before franshising him. Instead they basically said to AH; "we think you are lazy and suck and we don't want to commit a long term contract to you your lard lazy arse". Ah responded with one of the most dominant season for a DT in NFL history, appropriately said to the Titans pay me or I'm gone and lifted his middle finger on his way out of town. Now he is in the best shape of his life and the only good that came out of the whole ordeal is he isn't playing against us twice a year.

Ummmm...a big fat 'NO' to your whole freakin post.
Did you skip over the posts stating that the only two good years Al had here were his contract years? Or did you also miss the part about the production of all the defensemen on their other teams after our FO let them go? Our FO might be cheap, but they know when they aren't going to get productivity out of their players anymore. Show me ONE instance where we let a defenseman go to another team and he just goes off. You can't because there are none.
I don't see Al playing all 16 games this season. And like Titansgr8 said, the Redskins will prolly over-utilize him and either wear him out or injure him.

Outside of contract years Albert has these numbers:

    Sacks:
    2
    3
    1
    2.5
    1
    ------
    9.5

Basically, in 5 years he barely had more sacks than he did last year. (1) I know DT's sack numbers are never that high, but these are still mediocre among DTs.

He's played 1 full season in 7 years. His tackle numbers aren't that great either (usually around 30 outside the contract years).

Basically, this guy was simply good up til payday was coming. And even then he still missed 5 games while trying to earn that huge contract.

    soxcat speaks the truth.

its just a fortunate coincidence for delusional homers, that al developed into the best DT in the league during his contract year (((((at around age 25 with some seasons under his belt)))))

ill give you 100 mil to go be the best DT in the NFL. could you do it?

but wait, im making too much sense... my bad

haha yeah, he just developed overnight. Stopped taking as many plays off due to development! That's it! He's really not as lazy as he's been throughout 90% of his career...he just wasn't developed yet. I get it!

    lmao
