True, but aren't those condos 'gated', or at least they have an outside security door to where not just anyone can come into the building right up to your door?
And if it were the b/f, how did he get in? There weren't any signs of breaking and entering were there?

As to the gun, I can see a revolver leaving large trace amounts of gun powder, but I don't think you'd get very much with a semi-auto. The blast from the end of the muzzle would give some, but I could see in certain situations, it may not leave any.

Does anyone know in what order he was shot? Was it two to the chest then two more in the head? I'm just curious because maybe there was a fight leading up to the shooting. Maybe McNair was hanging in there after eating two bullets, then whoever realized; this man is a beast and had to finish him with the head shots. I try to picture then scene and it makes me mad that one of the greatest people in Titans history was taken out by some chump with a gun. Most people do know McNair is strapped so they'd be dumb not to bring a gun. I just wish he didn't have to go like this. Forget Michael Jackson's death (he touched boys). Steve McNair was the best, and for all the right reasons. I really wonder how this all played out.

I drove by the scene yesterday to get a better feel of the premises
several people were out on there balconies and the locations of the condos are pretty well in view of others
you gotta think that someone saw something
and what about 'hearing' something ?
details haven't come out yet re: the weapon, but chances of him having a silenced pistol are probably lower than one without

since she and he both have documented drinking incidents, i want to know their blood alcohol content of their bodies (or whatever is possible to be done and see if alcohol was in their systems), if they were both trashed, i would think that a fight is more likely to happen between them and kind of lessens the idea of a third party killing both of them

I think the time that it happened are key. How many are awake at that hour?
With the 4th of July coming up, the residents probably heard a lot of popping during the evening.

Any firearm will leave trace amounts of powder burns on your hand if you fire it (whether it be a wee .25 automatic, or a Desert Eagle .50); forensics can tell this stuff.
