For the price Haynesworth got, I would tend to agree.

this isnt a no brainer, and its not a top 3 off season move... hes the best DT in the game, he makes everyone around him better. if not giving AH a big payday is so obvious to yall, then does that make yall smarter than the multiple teams in the NFL that actually considered big money paydays.. nah. sucks he had to go, but we all really knew he wasnt gettin resigned, combined with the shiz hes gettin himself into these days, etc etc it hurts a lot less to let him go. not a YAY GOOD FOR US we didnt resign AH

Agree 100%. Haynesworth is not a 100million type of player. He's good don't get me wrong. But ranking 15th in sacks and 51 total tackles isn't the best. Letting him go opened up SO much salary. Tony Brown, Jason Jones, Jovan Haye, and Sen'Derrick Marks will be a great 4 man rotation. Picture this its the 4th quarter the other teams OL is dead, our DTs have been spliting time and there ready, they bust right thru the line and sack the QB and they fumble. Game.

for a defensive tackle that's pretty outstanding. the only guys that ranked ahead of him were OLBs and DEs.

Knowing Albert, it was indeed a great move to let him walk. We all know we'll probably hear his name for a few games with the 'Skins, then he'll baby a stubbed toe on the sidelines, and go back to being the lazy waste of talent he was before his contract year.

Considering much of his sack total was made stunting to end, and lining up up at end on passing downs, it wasn't THAT outstanding...

Yes a YAY. What kind of freakin crack are you smoking???
You've been eating paint chips if you think we, or anybody for that matter should pay him 100 million dollars. We offered him a damn lucractive contract of 8.5 mill per year. What does he need with that extra $$?

    "It's not about the money" my A S S!!

Yes, because you seem to fail MISERABLY at realizing that quite a few people/organizations have more money than brains. That mindset can be exponentialized when despair or grave need for something gets factored in.
