If the Titans draft him, I hope you're right.

But this is the way I see it...

Dude has been playing football since he was 12. Years of sweat and hard work to develop natural talent. He has an outstanding college career and puts himself in position to be a first round pick. Then he has an okay Combine where he injures himself and then ALLOWS HIMSELF TO GAIN 16 POUNDS IN THREE WEEKS BEFORE HIS PRO DAY which has to impact his status with, at least, a few scouts who naturally question why he decided to let himself go with so much on the line. What is he thinking? That brownie is worth the $1.5 mil he may lose by being picked late in the second instead of the first?

And I've had some gooooood brownies.

I honestly don't think it's going to affect his draft stock that much at all. He was always projected as a late 1st round, early 2nd round pick and he still will be IMO.

my dream senerio would be Alphonso Smith 1st, and Hackeem Nicks 2nd (if we can somehow trade up)

I want to believe the Nicks hype but I'm a little mixed. For whatever reason, I just don't feel as confident or knowledgeable about anyone in this draft.

But that would be a KILLER 1st and 2nd round combo. I'd be real happy to see that next weekend!

    mmmm special brownies ;)

I want this guy even more now that it looks like we won't be getting Holt. Hopefully we can get Nicks in the 1st, and D.J. Moore in the 2nd.

I feel like Nicks may have opened the door for Britt or even Robiskie if the Titans go WR in one.

  7. I rather not have Alphonso Smith, another tiny CB won't help.

I think the 14 pounds says something about his metabolism. Appears to be a high input/high output. You really can't do much aerobically with a hamstring issue- little if any bike work. I'm betting he shut down his legs completely to heal the tear so he could make some decent cuts and accelerations on his pro-day.

It seems like an "over-read" to me for the 14 pounds at this point. I think alot will depend on how he looks at his visit.

I dont know for sure but I believe Hakeem Nicks had some kind of legal issues. I like Kenny Britt more anyway. He's bigger, stronger, and faster.

    Cortland Finnegan: Height - 5'10", Weight - 188lbs
    Alphonso Smith: Height - 5'9", Weight - 193lbs

Alphonso Smith is the #1 corner on my board ahead of both Jenkins and Davis. He played on a consistently good Demon Deacons defense while picking up 21 interceptions in 4 years as a starter. He is only the 9th player in NCAA history to do so.

He can blitz, play the run, and cover downfield. He is a versatile playmaker, something the Titans want and need.

BMW v2.0 circa 2009 NFL Draft. You saw how Dwayne Jarrett fell a couple of years ago because of a slow 40 and added weight. Watch this free-fall!
