Percy Harvin shouldn't be a first round pick, and won't be a first round pick. Al Davis is the only idiot that would take him in the first.

I'd be alright with taking him in the 2nd...I think.

I'm pretty positive the 'beers' Tim Tebow has with 'guys' are more like wine coolers with boys.
Doubt he hangs out with many football players off the field. Probably many ball players- just not football players.

Nothing personal, but this mock draft sucks.

"Nothing personal" but why don't you add something constructive?

Glinks, I appreciate the effort you put in making this mock. While I do not think it's remotely close to what will happen on draft day I do like. It's not great but it's not as bad as some other mocks I've seen. It sure is unusual :)

Sorry sir, I'll do better next time I promise.

First, Harvin. This guy is built to fail in the NFL, physically and mentally. Huge injury risk, and regardless of how harmless marijuana is that isn't the first time his character has come into question. He can't run routes and relied on simply running faster than guys in college.

Ingram. The fact that he's rated over Coffman as a dangerous red zone threat is simply wrong in my opinion. If Scaife is as pissed as he seems and plans to try and walk next year we'll need a TE with hands. Coffman easily has the second best if not the best hands at the position in years. We have a "blocking" tight end in Stevens. And the fact that the OP even put in Ingram's explanation that he has better character than Harvin pretty much immediately killed the first pick.

I would be shocked if we wait until the 3rd before going defense knowing how this team is but I actually kind of like his 3rd one here. Jason could be some decent value at this point. I see him more as a career nickel corner with some upside.

Frantz Joseph could be a solid player. Will need to bulk up some but has good field vision.

The main problem is that I don't see any needs handled in this. Harvin doesn't have the makings of a number one receiver so if he's the "best on the board" then we should probably look at another position. And if we're going to be ok with some character flaws I'd rather take that risk on Vontae Davis.

So, like I said, it's absolutely nothing personal to the OP and I appreciate him sharing it, but I think the mock draft sucks. Just my opinion so back off coming after me there naruto.

No, KC, it's nothing personal at all. I write these because it's unrealistic to write dream mock after dream mock. To me, there has to be that element or risk of suckage and disappointment.

But anything can happen. So a team can love a speedy back that popular opinion says should be a second or third round pick, or they can forfeit an entire draft for one pothead...it just doesn't matter that much.

I wrote Ingram in the second just because a lot of us recognize some degree of usefulness of addressing TE on draft day, either via draft or trade, and because it's all rather subjective. One team's trash...and the pundits are just closer to the pulse, but still deal in opinions, and what becomes popular begins to shape the collective thought. But no, he's not a TE I really want in two at all. Give me Jared Cook in two, or Shawn Nelson, instead.

I did take two offensive guys on purpose, because, well, it's just a possibility. They might say We need two offensive playmakers -- we're not going to make any trades -- we'll just get the two best we can get -- we'll coach up the defensive picks -- we don't have major defensive holes to fill. That's pretty much what this mock says.

And regarding Harvin, there won't be any more mocks written by me where we pick him anywhere.

No. I know Florida Gator fans that admit he's as gay as a 3 dollar bill- but as long as he wins, couldn't care less.

I'd take him on my college team, even if he does blow men. I've got no problem with homosexuality.
