Wouldn't get too excited about Cousins yet. He hasn't even taken his ACT/SAT yet and word is that unless he is given 18 points for spelling his name right, could be tough to meet SEC requirements.

I guess its a good thing you aren't a talent scout, because Cousins is top 5 in every recruit rankings out there.

Well those "fans" must not have been true fans, becuase being a true fan and talking other people, Calipari was never bashed, but highly praised.

And Carl Henry won't be hired at Memphis. That was just a rumor that has since been shot down. CJ Henry may stay, he may go, I could care less. I want his brother.

Oh, and there are reasons that Gillispie wasn't retained. Such as forcing players to play with concussions, locking a player in a bathroom stall because "he coulsn't stand to look at him", calling Jodie Meeks the "most selfish player" he's ever seen and tellign him to quit the team (on multiple occassions), making the bus driver stop at the SEC Tourney to make a player with a concussion walk the next 2.5 miles to the hotel because he was a "pus**", etc etc.

Agreed. He took it last Saturday (April 4th), I pray to God he met qualifications.

Diapers? Really? lol, just kidding. I have nothing but respect for Josh Pastner, and want him to succeed at Memphis.

This quote: "He might have Memphis in a Final 4 before Cal has Kentucky in it." is laughable.

Why is it laughable? Cal has to employ a new system, with new players. Pastner doesn't and the Memphis team was quite a bit better than Kentucky last year.
So logically speaking...it wouldn't be such a tough feat.

I know Cousins is top 5 ranked. But have you ever watched his video? He plays a bunch of midgets that are average. He's slow, does nothing special- he was just bigger than his weak opposition.
Watch his vids on youtube. He doesn't even have a vertical.

Henry's dad may very well be hired at Memphis. Regardless- Xavier wants to play with his brother, and CJ is pretty certain Xavier is choosing Memphis still. And now Taggart may return also.

Cousins can piss off. But Wall and Henry I care about.

Haha...we in Big Blue Nation want John Wall as well. Some say they would donate their left testacle for him, and for some of those people, I wouldn't put it past them.

I want Xavier, but I think he will end up at Kansas.

Just curious, where did you read where CJ is petty certain Xavier will stay at Memphis? Because Memphis released him from his LOI

UK may have lost Orton who is every bit the player than Cousins. But who knows at this point....

That was the rumor this morning. But Daniel's father has since come out saying it was a rumor.

This may be because Daniel is playing in the Derby Festival Classic in Louisville this Saturday.

I would much rather have Orton than Cousins

4 Star recruit Nolan Dennis as asked for his release from Memphis and is looking and his options. Also G Michael Porter has left the team to handle personal matters with a new new wife and child. Calipari has been holding practices this week to see the talent he has to deal with and there will be more roster clearing to come. Darius Miller is stated to be flourishing in the dribble drive offense when Calipari held a practice that was open to a limited number of media members.
