ok, i didnt know where to post this, but i am sure TJ will move it where it is supposed to go.
basically, i am thinking about cutting out my cable tv. it is to expensive for what i just watch. so here is my questions. please help me out here!
i know you can stream netflix though xbox. but what are the requirements? i know you need a xbox gold subscription, but i dont know what type of xbox you do need. i already have a ps3, so this wouldnt be for gaming (ok maybe a little) but mainly to watch movies like i do ondemand now.
also, does xbox have a web browser on it? ps3 is kinda crappy and buffers videos i get off line alot...which really sucks.
i know there are sites out there like hulu, which mainly deals with nbc and fox stations. but my wife really enjoys some tlc programs. i went to their website and they dont offer full episodes. any one have any other ideas?
if anyone can help me out with ideas, or thoughts, that would be great. i am just starting my research on this, but i am sure there are people on here already doing it. thanks guys!

I use to Have Netflix on Xbox 360.

any 360 will work as long as you have a HDD and Internet connection to a 360. you also need a pc to add movies to your Queue in order for them to show up on your Xbox 360 Neflix dashboard page. Most movies are streamed to 360 which has to buffer it and it's VHS quality. there are some shows like the Office etc.. that stream in HD and look great. You cannot get everything you want on Netflix. you cannot stream the newest movies, you can only get them through mail.

btw you have to sign up for Netflix also.

The quality is as good as the original movie quality, I believe.

they are passing it now where you will have to pay for each show you order on the net not sure when it will take effect but its coming. comcast is suing these sites because they have to pay for these chan. but they are giving them away on the net.
    just a thought.

I joined Hulu.com yesterday, just to check it out. I want to see how much content we'd really miss out on.

    Hulu is free...for now.

If you have a computer, connect it to to your tv(if its a newer one) and you can watch shows over the internet. Hulu.com provides movies and shows of the latest tv shows and has some hd videos which are very good quality. As far as watching your titans games, there are ways of doing that..:duckrun:
