I'm hoping to see Hawkins as the #2. See what he can do.

I wish I could remember what Mason looked like before he became "the man". I just remember him as a backup WR and returner, nothing else sticks out about his WR play early on.

I'd like to know from those who paid more attention back then about the early Mason. Fisher recently compared Jones to Mason. Was Mason showing flashes but being inconsistent? He didn't put up #'s his first few years here, but seems like Fisher and/or his staff saw something.

I thought his hands were really good this year. It's hard to say he was inconsistent this year since we left McCariens in a lot (why?), and we can't really comment on his route running even when he wasn't thrown to. I think Jones has the potential to be more than he's been, but lots of guys with potential never become much.

I want Jones to stay, but not that big a deal at this time if he walks. I'm all for going after a FA (probably just dreams) or a draft pic. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if BJ hasn't played his best ball yet.

If I remember correctly Mason was lucky in we had a lot of injuries and he moved up the ranks.
