I agree with your point of view on dog fighting, but in the case of deer, humans get killed because we invade their space not the other way around.

I work in IT with clueless end-users who make the same mistakes over and over (even after I 'splain something to them in Barney style detail), and break the same crap over and over by the same exact means.

Trust me, I've already had over 300% of my daily FAIL consumption from work before I even log onto Go Titans.

Hunting is more of a sport/game than it is used for food. The food part of the game is just some bs justification. And it's not as if the people killing the deer are starving without that deer.
Sounds like you're in DESPERATE need of some female companionship. Or a psychiatrist.
You'd 'happily' kill someone for messing with your dog?... and you're arguing against cruelty? What a joke you are.

As for everyone else acting like cruelty to animals is going to end Vick's career: This is the NFL.

We have murderers, druggies, face-stompers, etc playing. Why not someone that tortured a few animals? Maybe I'm wrong for placing more sincerity for people over stupid animals that impress people by fetching a ball, but it seems rational.

every off topic point deserves an off topic counter argument, no?

Have you ever seen a deer drive a truck? Naturally I would expect that you have since the middle of the road is their territory...

Up and down highways there are wildlife perimeter fences designed to keep wild-life out of roads. They are there for our mutual protection... protecting them from our autos and protecting us from having crashes by hitting them. Whether a road goes through a wild life area doesn't matter. In the order of things man is above animals. The animals are there for our use. Animals don't have territory so much as they are left on territory that man designates. The road is where it is... I'm not talking about hikers being attacked by deer. I don't think that happens. Deer simply flee when they detect humans....

I don't see how one can construe a deer running out in front of a car or truck as humans invading the deers territory. Asphalt is asphalt.

I think the deer were in those fields before the roads were. Just a guess.

And Florida was once controlled by the Spanish so what is your point?

We invaded their territory. That's like building a waterpark in a swamp and saying 'have you ever seen a crocodile go down a slide on some floaties? Naturally I would expect that you have since the middle of the swamp is their territory.'

But anyway- I don't like the idea of dog fighting, cruelty of animals, etc. It just makes me laugh that the same people that shoot animals for fun and brag about it to their pals at work "Bagged me an 8 pointer YEE HAW!!" are the same ones that cry about a dog being killed in a cruel way.

Humans are constantly encroaching, invading and annexing animals' territory.

You sure about that? I'll cry foul when I see a dog killed in a cruel way, but I don't hunt. Not that I wouldn't but only if I had to to survive.
Let's talk about animals that are killed, like cows, and pigs. They are killed with a .22 round in the head. That kills them instantly.
People who shoot and kill deer 'for fun or sport' still clean the deer and they either save the venison for themselves or they hand it out to friends and family. The deer usually doesn't go to waste...pretty stinkin silly to kill a deer just so you can taxiderm it's head and hang it on your wall. :irked:

Either way, none of the killing methods above are anywhere close to being as cruel as some of the ways that Vick and crew killed them.

    Commish Goodell,
Even though you've dropped the ball more times than Titans' recievers, since you've been here, please don't drop it again by letting Vick back into the league.

I'd consider the possibility of letting him back into the NFL after he's done at least 2000 community service hours for any or all of the following:
    -PETA
    -ASPCA
    -Humane Society
