This guy is an idiot. He just blamed the dumb call at the end of the game on "Timing at the line" and "Justin hesitating". Then says "I've said it time and time again, if I had to do it again, I wouldn't change the play."

Makes me feel safe going in to playoffs. How about you? Everyone that's watched football knows that's a stupid call. Even if you're going to not kick- that play was stupid. No excuses.

I guess he feels the fans shouldn't question him either.

    Who cares? Really?

What's done is done and he can't do it again.

Get over it and move on. I am sure he has and so has the team.

Well it's been 10 years and everyone is stunned and shocked because Fisher may or may not have made a mistake. He said he couldn't make it. 49 yards is not a gimmie anytime anywhere. He said he couldn't make it before the game during warmups.

I doubt the TEAM has. The TEAM probably knows how stupid it was. The TEAM probably cares about home field advantage. Gunny, stop being such a passive homer for one second of your life.
Still trying to figure out what Reinfeldt, Fisher, or Bud did for you to make you never question a single thing they do. Cure for aids? Cancer? What was it?

I care Gunny. Seriously. It really irks me that he ran THAT play. Bironus is singing a different tune as well. But.....agreed we need to move on, but dang, it was to the Cows, and who knows when we will have the chance at being 13-1 comes along again.

That's where I'm going to disagree. He used terrible judgement and didn't put our team in the best position to win. Knowing you have a pro-bowl kicker (who has a history in Reliant Stadium, no less) and deciding to throw on 4th and 3? To our worst WR? Why not a roll out to our FB or RB, that's worked before...and as for your "Who cares" comment... I CARE, GUNNY. I guarandamntee there are others on this board that care just as much as I do. It was a BULL**** call Fisher made, we've all moved on and disgraced ourselves in the process by losing to a terrible team when we could have locked up the win. Not to mention that we could have made things easier for ourselves to win the 1st seed and homefield throughout the playoffs. Now we have to bite our nails next week while we play the second best team in the AFC, and if we lose, there goes homefield, but I guess that "Who cares" attitude you have will carry over when we're a lower seed and in a worse position...

For me, it's just the thought that he's so stubborn that he'd try something that stupid again in the near future. I can see it now- AFC Championship game, 4th and 2 with 2 minutes left. 50 yard field goal in the cold or...a pass to justin mccareins?

Why of course!! I wonder if Fish will have someone start his car before he calls the play.
