no they're not. all you have to do is watch both games against the ravens to see which one is better.

my answer would be.. who cares. 90% chance we don't ever play them this year. How often do 2 one seeds make it to the Superbowl?

So your basing this decision on 1 game? We out rushed the Giants against the Bengals so what's your point?

How about Eli's 12 sacks to Collins' 5? Their offensive lines are about the same, you can't convince me otherwise.

    Run Blocking: Giants
    Pass Blocking: Titans

I think the Giants run game is better than the Titans as a whole. But our D is better than theirs as a whole.

I'd agree with that. I'd take Jacobs over White but I'd take Johnson over Ward and or Bradshaw.

Keep in mind Johnson is still a rookie so he'll get better, it's not like this is as good as he's going to be. Ward and Bradshaw have the advantage of being around longer.

Its understandable why people would say the Giants are better.

If I wasen't a Tenn fan and didn't understand Fisher nor the way he calls a game, I'd say the Giants are better based on the final scoreboard and the way they blow away teams 44-6 and 41-13 etc.. while we on the other hand beat under .500 teams by only a score or two.

See thats normal because thats just the way Fisher likes for our games to unfold. He always plays to the opponent's level and then grounds them late in the game with our defense. We almost never blow away a team unless it happens by accident like the two long TD runs from LW and CJ late in the 4th quarter againts the Chiefs. All we were trying to do was milk the clock and maybe get into field goal position, and we ended up breaking loose for two long TDs.

We can also blow teams away if we wanted to. We scored 14 points againts the jags in less than 2 minutes, and we scored a TD against the Colts on an excellent drive in the 3rd to tie for the lead because we needed to.

So in other words, we only score when we need to. The Giants on the other hand score as much as they possibly can in 60 minutes then look up at the score board to see who won.

    It doesn't make them better.

On paper, yes they are. Not by much, but I think they're better. The Titans are WAY more consistent, though. For all the offense and defense the Giants have, we've got the biggest win margin. Almost every week we consistently score 21-24 points and consistently give up 10-14. Giants will score 40 one week and 14 the next. The D is a little more consistent but still not like ours - we've yet to give up more than 21 - and the only team to score more than 20 on us was the Colts with a garbage-time TD.

I'll take a very good and consistent team any day over a very very good inconsistent one.

In all honesty the Giants are better, for the fact alone that they are still riding high from their Superbowl win......but they could easily be 8-2, since that Bengals game they almost didnt win. The Giants remind me of the Patriots of last year, doing what they want, playing whatever way they want...as long as at the end of the game they can look up at the scoreboard and see a W. But you gotta remember, Eli has always played horrible in the second half of the year, so we need to see if it reverts back to form.

Giants Titans Superbowl...I say Titans no matter what record they have at that time, go in and win....its just destiny....and in mythology a Titan can always beat a Giant.

  10. Am I mistaken, or weren't both starting cornerbacks injured during last weeks Giants-Ravens contest? Sounds a little too easy for baby Manning to open that early Christmas present.
