    I think this is about right. I'm pretty sure you mean at least $30M in guaranteed money, not SB, but if we did that, I'm sure he'd be ours again. :eek:

    I kind of expect the top end value to be greater than Dwight Freeney's $72M deal, and I think Al has the leverage to get that, too, especially considering Dwight's deal. Freeney got $72 two years ago, Kearse got $66M four years ago. Albert has a good argument.

    I believe the Titans will be surprisingly aggressive, set their range for compensation, and stick to it. Hopefully it'll be enough for Al, but I think it'll be competitive. Also, a good defense for us against the stupid offers that will surely come will be TN's lack of state income tax. Finally, the Titans best chance is to strike fast and come in hot. If they spend any time *****-footing with Al, he'll take off with intent I do believe.

    im thinking also that albe's contract will over run freeny's.

    scary to think bout a 75M dollar contract over 6 yrs....
