Theoretically, if I was QB for the Titans last year and handed the ball off or threw the ball away EVERY play, then I would have never made 1 single play that *lost* us the game. BUT, I never made ANY plays that put points on the board.

Similarly, Vince may not have "lost" a game for us specifically because of 1 botched handoff to White, but when you don't put up points you are regularly putting your team at a horrific disadvantage making your defense play 100% spot on mistake free football for the entire game.

It would have been nice to be able to rest some of our D at some point during a game last year...but Vince never gave us a comfortable lead, so we couldn't. And we saw how the defense reacted int he 2nd half in San Diego when they knew Vince had no ability to score on them. Hell, I think Vince knew he couldn't score on them, that's why he tried to not come out of the locker room in the 2nd half.

As a passer, what has Vince Young done to impress you? Am I missing something? Is it his accuracy, his deep ball, or his 3 yard dumps that are so impressive? Please send me a youtube video with a highlight reel of all these passes and plays he makes, because I've missed those games.

Good points, but I think that VY has made some big plays for us. Not very many his second year (some of the passes in the Denver game, the drive against the Colts). But, I have fait in Dinger to turn him into a proficient passer.

I think a lot of his problems stem from expecting too much from himself.m I think the injury has a lot to do with it, as well as the general letdown from the WRs. Not being able to dominate had a little to do with it as well, I think.
I never said he is an acceptable passer. Then again, if VY is so terrible, what does it say about KFC that his numbers are similar? I think VY will grow into a proficient passer this year under Dinger, and much of this time can be used to help him grow.

One guy writes that he tried to pull himself out and 100 write that it's not true. You of course choose to believe the one.

Nate you my friend are a genius.

Problem with the Denver game is they were more than willing to give us underneath passes because they knew Vince cant throw downfield. Denver's offense always had a nice lead so they were pretty much in a prevent the whole night. Hence that's why it was Young's only 300 yard pass game. Besides we still lost.

I remember a few pretty deep passes. I also remember Brandon Jones dropping a pass that hit him right in the hands, that could have gone for a long gain.

Seeing as how his longest pass in the Denver game was 21 yards, I'm not sure what "few pretty deep passes" your talking about.

Obviously, but what about drops? They show as incompletions, yet obviously, they aren't a QBs fault.
