Well you schedule these games years in advance, how were we to know Washington would go from a Rose Bowl team to a bottom feeder? And sorry to disappoint but we wont be losing any games this year.

Don't buy it. The Big 10 has been getting top recruits year in and year out.

I'm sure USC has something to say about that.

Not to the level that teams in warmer climates are getting, with OSU and Michigan being exceptions due to the stature of their programs. ESPNs rankings for this years freshman class has one big 10 school in the top 10, and also Notre Dame. The rest are all schools in warm weather climates.

    I welcome the challenge.

There's enough colder weather cities that have good recruiting classes that I'm not worried about it.

Uh. LSU? Dorsey is the most overrated player in the country and wont ever make a pro bowl.
Anyway - as for 9 Bowl Teams. Yeah. The SEC only has 80 teams in it. I'd hope they have a lot of bowl teams.

    As for recruiting:

Low standards and warm weather are pretty heavy advantages. The SEC should actually be better than it is with these types of conditions, and not even needing to know how to read or write to be a student.

I was talking about FLorida. Eddyc said OSU's o-line, for some reason decided not to block that game. It wasnt that they decided not to block, it is that they couldnt block because FLorida's D was so much better. That was my point.

The SEC has one more team than the Big 10, the same as the Big 12, and the same as the ACC.

Ah, got ya. I was thinking about the LSU game. The SEC is a larger conference than the Pac 10 and Big 10, and they're the 2 conferences that are right on their tail. The Big 10 with 1 less school has .5 less players drafted per year than the SEC as well.

Point is - they have tons of advantages that people overlook when considering them dominant.

Won't ever make a pro bowl? Did you check your crystal ball on that one? He has the ability to be a dominant tackle in the NFL.

He doesnt have the ability to be a dominant tackle in the AFL. He'll be a solid player. Nothing more. He's slow, gets blown up by nobodies, and gets to the ball after the rest of his guys get there first. How he ever got as much attention as he did, is a mystery.
