Depends on the scheme. Also, Sanders covers some. Not as much as most, but a lot nonetheless.

 

He's not good at it.

Wilson and Reed can tackle and they sure can cover. That makes them better IMO.

 

I don't watch enough pf the Cards or the Ravens to say. But, you can't say that Sanders is not qualified to be in the discussion, IMO.

Where did anyone get the idea that sanders can't cover?

 

Probably his lack of INTs and Pass Defense?

Are you talking about the 230lb wilson? A very similar type player to sanders.

 

How bout using guys who played a full season, not half.
And funny, playing a quarter less games than Sanders they still managed comparable statistics in coverage.

But hey don't let Sanders average of 3 pass defenses and 1 Int per season get in the way of logical thinking.

Ahh you mean like the last full season he played when he had 5 sacks, 4 INTs, 10 Pass Defense? Sure as hell better than Sanders there. So much for that theory.

 

But the numbers are so small, we cannot be sure that they would exceed them if given a full season.
