I would say clark is an above average tight end but I also think Crumpler is if he stays injury free. There is no way you can consider clark one of the best though. He's not in the elite group of te's like gates, gonzalez, and witten.

I also think it's funny that you're calling people ignorant but someone on another thread was saying we couldn't talk to you like that.

    Um...huh?

How would it be ignorant to expect Clark production would go down on another team? Oustide of the Pats, the Colts have the best throwing QB, the most pass happy offense, the best WR in the league, a 1000yd rb who can also catch the ball....and that other guy....um....Marvin Harrison.

Unless you're under the delusion is better than Manning, Wayne, ect and that the only reason Wayne is open is because of Clark getting doubled and tiing up the S's...you have to concede that Clark's production would go down (probably significantly if he went to an avg offense)....

And that's not even comparing career stats...

    no sir.

what i am saying is if clark were the only option, like crumpler, he would be putting up way better numbers. but with wayne and harrison being open he has limited opportuninties.

crumpler was vicks first read. if he was open the ball was coming out to him. clark is usually the third read. so therefore clark isnt getting as many looks.

ask any non titan fan who is better and they will say clark

I'm agreeing with Omaha here. I think Clark is a top 5 TE.

I have my concerns about Crumpler's knee. Two years for $5 mil with only a $1 mil SB tells me other teams must have had concerns as well.

Clark has to get around 50 yards a game to catch up to Crumpler at the same rate. He hasn't done that before.

clark averages 6 yards a game less than crumpler. plus clark has gotten better every year. i could easily see him being a bigger part of the offense especially with harrisons health in question.

clark could very well put up monster numbers this year.

Crumpler had Vick as his QB. Yet Crumpler has been top 5 when healthy. No contest.
