I sure hope Derrick Henry is a beast this year

With 2 games vs Jags and 1 vs Texans on the schedule, it's possible

He'd have to go on an absolute beast streak. 17 games help but I'm going to say ~1800 yards is more realistic. But I'd like to see him add 8-10 more TDs

 

Agree. We’ve seen him hit hot streaks but not so much this year. Solid season for sure and absolutely making a case at rushing title #3 n 4 years.

 

Plus the OLine hasn't been very helpful this season. The combo they used last game seemed much better.

 

passing game kept safetys a step further back than recently... seemed that way too me anyhow

 

The oline has actually been a bit above average run blocking:

Pass protection is a different story lol poor tanne.


Henry has been outstandingly average, which is kinda impressive considering he's been our only real weapon 90% of the season and Downing is about as creative as a thumb tack.

 

At the start of the week, Henry had a 57 yard lead on Barkley. Barkley got 39 yards.

Yeah the good ol PFF "best run blocking with his left toe facing the opposing head coach with a western wind at 12mph" BS, maybe.

But if you watch the games, the OL is mostly trash. They've seemed to be getting better but there's a reason that a majority of Henry's yards have come after contact and he's not breaking the big runs.
