Titans OC Todd Downing might be the least popular person in Nashville right now.

Good coaches give their players the best chance to succeed. Calling sweeps to the left right after your LT just left the game is bad coaching and constantly bad coaching decisions like that is why this offense has been stuck in neutral since Downing took over. By your logic, it wouldn’t matter who the coordinator is, the players just have to execute what’s called. Anyone who follows the NFL knows that couldn’t be further from the truth. Coordinators can completely change the success of a team.

 

A good coach would know he doesn’t have the blockers to do that and would also realize Henry is no longer the best back in the league. Not a single offensive player is excelling in this offense. When the entire offense is inept, it’s the man in charge of it.

 

Ok so play calling doesn’t matter. Got it. As long as everyone does their job every play, you could hire someone off the street to call the plays. I don’t even know why these teams try to hire the latest offensive minds.

 

Ran through them like butter the first drive when everything was scripted. That proves we have the talent to score. Same thing happened against the Giants. Once our idiot of an OC takes over full control of the offense, everything goes to hell. Same thing has been happening since he took over. This isn’t his first time destroying a team.
