    Whole lot of Willis hype.

I saw just what I saw when looking at his highlights...he doesn't seem particularly shifty or fast...wants to run every play, but I don't think he will be able to outrun defenders in the NFL as much as he did in college. . But he does possess a strong arm. If he learns to read defenses/stay in the pocket he stands a chance, I guess. But I don't see him as a future NFL starter at this point. Time will tell, I guess.

they finally airing the game on NFL-N and I was barely sat down on the couch and he shoulda had a pick 6 right off the bat - but Ravens corner dropped a gimme - coulda looked worse.

I’m having trouble believing people think Willis can be the starter this season. What in the world did you see against Raven scrubs that makes you think that? I came away from the game thinking we do not have a legitimate back-up.

For me, this tells me Vrabel doesn't want Willis running around in the preseason as they know he can do that. The staff wants to see if Willis can read the defense, stay in the pocket, and deliver the ball decisively. Vrabel doesn't seem too happy with Willis' overall performance.

The scouting report on Willis reports that he tends to bail too quickly in the pocket and take off. I saw a lot of that in his first preseason game (as expected). Willis is a project and there is a long way to go before he even sniffs starting game (barring injury of course).

Willis looked fine in his first pre-season start, and definitely got more comfortable in the pocket as the game went on. That throw to Kinsey along the sideline was really nice. Arm was on display multiple times last night.

He looked elusive while avoiding pressure and consistently kept his eyes down field. Overall it was a solid, if unspectacular, performance.

Hope Vrabel plays Willis the entire game next week. I can’t handle watching Woodside again

Willis couldn't find a receiver all night. He drops back, looks, looks, looks, avoids a sack and runs out of bounds. I know it's his first action in the NFL, but it wasn't pretty. The pass to McMath wasn't exactly a laser beam. He's lucky the defender got lost on that one.

Rookie QBs have to figure out that no one is open in the NFL like they were in College. He's going to have to thread needles in the NFL.

This one is the most troublesome in my opinion:

Burks was way more than NFL open. At the same time, it was only Willis' first game and he is a massive project. He's got the physical tools, can he learn to execute an NFL offense is the question

For me, this first preseason game reaffirms that there is no real upside in keeping Woodside on the roster. While Woodside has a better feel for running an NFL offense, he doesn't remotely have the physical tools to execute it. Most of his throws were off the mark or late. Unless Woodside shows can show more, the Titans would likely be better off just going with Willis as the #2.
