Washington Commanders

Wish I would've purchased commanders.com I'd be a rich man right now.

 

They seem to go a little aggressive with their political correctness with the all African American spokespeople in that announcement. Seems like they are really trying to force the image that they are no longer a racist organization with a racist team name.

No problem if that's what they want to do, it just feels like a forced PR move than something natural.

 

And the name is super weak. The should have just stuck with the Washington Football Team. Or hell even the Generals sounds better than this.

As other's have pointed out. The Harlem Globetrotters out rank them now, lol.

Do not like the name or the logo. But sometimes things grow on you. We will see. Thought RedHogs would have been a good fit.

 

"Redhogs of Washington" would've been what I would've went with.

 

Could of put more American Indians in the ad since I don't know, they were the ones offended by it supposedly.

 

I wonder how Commander Custer feels about this.

 

Should have just stayed the generic Washington Football Team after being force to pick a new name
