JRob is a smart guy. He has a good pulse for the team. Always has. Last offseason what were our weaknesses? Pass rush and secondary. That was a strength this year.

Let’s see what he does this off-season.

Look guys- chooses and "responsible" for are two completely different things. I really shouldn't have to keep explaining it. The GM is responsible for all the contract hiring/firing etc. This shapes how/who he will allow the coach to go with. The HC does NOT have cart blanche say over who is hired. The GM ultimately signs off on every personnel hire. Another way of saying it- Vrabel can't veto a choice who he does or doesn't want- but the GM can. Ultimately- that's a bad idea but it is the GM's "RESPONSIBILITY" for the hiring firing, employment agreements of all team personnel. And if the team he has assembled does well, he gets credit. If it doesn't, then he gets the heat. That's why a strong GM-HC is crucial. That's why GM's are fired when a team doesn't do well over a couple of coaches. It's not the other way around, unless a GM elects to retire. Either you get what I'm saying or you don't. It's not an important point for me to clarify any further.

Bullock was fine this year. Won us some games even.

But we have to get a guy who can kick the ball to the end zone. Bengals had great field position all night because of that and turnovers

Being elite doesn’t mean your team is flawless. Having a pulse for the team doesn’t mean every move you make will strike gold either.

Maybe you should remember what you said then.

JRob does not HIRE the OC. That’s Vrabel.

Maybe, we should actually draft a kicker. Look how it worked out for the Bengals.

No draft picks after taking star QBs from Hawaii with our 6th rounders,

Seriously, I agree and I saw a lot of other posters here saying the same thing during the draft/all conversations about the draft.
