Look, I am not saying we would have went to the Superbowl or even won another game, but can someone explain why the titans went for two?

Not only that, but along with not making that 2-point conversation, Derrick Henry could not gain 1 yard to get a first down.

The offensive line, did not get enough knock back on several plays to convert first downs.

As much as we want to lay blame on tannehill and believe me he deserves it, the only group that showed up was the front four.

    Bad coaching decisions, including Vrabel.
Not winning the line of scrimmage in crucial 3rd downs.
    Henry's negative plays.
The wide receivers playing beach volleyball out there.
Special teams giving the Bengals returners the middle of the field.
    Missed tackles in the secondary.

And all the while the Bengals were playing a perfect game.

So yeah, tannehill all day, but we lost this game as a team.

That was puzzling...the turning point was after Foreman's big run we should have went to Henry or back to Foreman..passing was stupid ..get the points

If Downing is still on sidelines in two-tone blue next year - something is definitely a miss. Someone has to fall on the sword after getting bounced @ home after a bye.

    It most likely won't matter.

The Titans had their shot. It won't come around any time soon.

Based on our contract situation, we have another year in this window.
But that’s assuming Tannehill can deliver in the big game. If not, we may be better off after this window.

On that last drive with the int, Downing was an idiot for calling a pass in a bunch formation to WR #3. He should of not put Tanne in a position knowing how his passes had gone all night with the other two ints. When he is pressing passes they are always bouncing off WR's hands.

    I agree.

    I don't like it, but you're right.

Henry wasn't 100%. Not his fault, I put that on Downing.

Tannehill was having a bad day.

Defense played Lights-Out. Unfortunately it wasn't enough.

Downing had his head up his ass. He should have stuck with what was working.

It was an Offensive team loss.

But again, he would not have had to if Varbel does not go for two, or if the offensive line could win the line of scrimmage on running plays.
Remember, the Titans had 2 shots to get a first down with 1 yard to go and did not get it.

yeah, I made that point to friends prior to game as well. Bengals are young and on the up with Burrow - plenty of years with them and Herbert and Mahomes and Allen …. We had our window and frankly it’s closing fast.

Henry is now another offseason older on RB legs coming off a bad injury and we’re still stuck with a middling-level QB. This was our chance.

Hell never deliver three big games in a row. Won't happen.

Blow it up. Get us a QB asap.
