    Gentlemen I need help.

That metal tray that you pour your charcoal onto in my KitchAid Grill has rusted through and I need to figure something out without just junking the grill totally as its a nice grill. Have any of you ever replaced that tray that you pour charcoal onto after it rusts through? What do I search for other than tray?

Is it round? If so, what's the diameter?

I’m not familiar with KitchenAid grills but I’d be shocked if there wasn’t something already designed on Amazon for it. You might try checking Reddit as well.

Its like a rectangular dish with sides. 24" long and 16" wide. I found a replacement part for it but it's $100, 45% the cost of the grill. I simply want something I can make or buy cheap to just throw in there. GoT reminded me that people throw grills out all the time in the Spring.

That stinks. I suppose you’ve already checked to see if other grill brands might work.

You’d think someone would make a cheaper option even if it was a wire rack.

Charbroil has something that is dirt cheap. I may try that out.
