Too early. If it were awarded today, no doubt.

Yeah, if he can keep doing it... and we get a 1 or 2 seed and advance in the playoffs, then he deserves it. No question about it.

Titans win 12+ games, he’s definitely in the conversation.

    Just too early.
The other teams I could say in the running currently:
    ARZ coach
    McCarthy
If the Raiders finish a playoff team, their interim could make a case
    Bengals

I mean outside of just counting wins (GB, TB, Buffalo) I’m not sure who else is really in the race.

I would add... if we can survive all the injuries and still be a contender, then we should think about JRob as GM of the year as well. All the backup depth and FA signings to fill in are far better than any other organization have shown in the past 20 years.

That would fall on Vrabel and his coaching.

Yes JRob bought in Dupree, Jones, Reynolds, Farley and Radunz but none has made any serious contribution during this 8-2 run.

You can easily sign John Doe and Johnny Doe, but it takes more than just signing the dotted line to make any contribution.

JRob deserves credit in bringing in and drafting the above players, but this run is totally on Vrabel and nothing to do with JRob, since the above players haven't made any impact as of now.

Everyone has their own opinions so I don’t wanna bash yours completely but man..

mccarthy?? My best friend is a Dallas fan - can’t stand the way he coaches. They have all that talent anyways it’s not like he’s doing anything that spectacular.

Bengals? They been tailing off as of late especially that defense which has been horrid. They now in desperation mode - HAVE to beat the Raiders.

I mean Patriots aka ole Bill B are the only other team in AFc close to the award as of now. He’s going get that praise without Brady and trading away their best corner - rookie QB … etc and on a roll right now.

This upcoming Titan - Patriot game gunna be huge. Could go a long way for the COTA award.

Respectfully disagree. It's not just about the big name signings and draft picks, it also about building a roster that can maintain a high level of play when those guys are out. JRobb has done that. Our UDFA and depth signings have a lot to do with our recent success. That's a credit to our GM. Remember when this team had no depth?

Agree with NE and yes, Cincy is falling off. This week is big on which Id put more money on to win between Cincy and LV. Both would be eliminated without reaching the post season too.

I say McCarthy not necessarily for anything more than taking a major media darling in Dallas and returning them to division champs (maybe more) for the first time in a long time. I think the Bryant “catch” is about the last relevance they’ve had.

Overall, someone else pointed out it’s much too early to really make the call.
