Titans sign ILB Avery Williamson

I think Williamson will be in on run downs and Rice will come in on passing downs until Jayon is ready.

 

Homecomings like this are fun. Glad he's back. He should help the run D right away.

What the heck happened to Rashaan Evans? When you think back to that draft where we moved up to get him, and realize we could have had Darius Leonard instead, you will get an ice cream headache between your eyebrows if you think about it too long.

 

We def need Jayon on passing down. If we are stuck with Evans or Williams on passing downs we are toast

 

On passing downs we will go with three Ss and only one LB. It is actually running downs where we can get burned by a pass

 

We just signed a practice squad player. He will not be better than anyone we have right now. He is a downgrade who is coming in because of injuries.

 

Brown is out. Vrabel doesn’t like him for some reason. Doesn’t matter if he is better than the alternative or not.

We’ve got a lot of holes but man if there is a stud linebacker there in the 1st I’d be fine with it. Sucks we seem to have whiffed on the last 2 premium o-line picks since that’s probably where we will go again.

 

I’m all for just overpaying some free agents. It’s panned out for Saffold.
