Kicker

I knew I remebered that name Ficken all summer but just couldn't put my finger on it, and I finally remembered tonight. In 2012 he lost a game for Penn State against UVA 17-16 after missing 4 field goals and an XP. I'm currently a Ficken fan, but an interesting piece of history.

UGh never liked Bullock since he missed that easy FG when we needed him to get into the playoffs ...

Still NOT drafting Blankenship in favor for the blond, Owen Wilson, Hawaii QB wash out - strikes again

 

No one could prepare for this many Kicking problems scattered over a 3 year period.
The chances of having this many kickers has to be astronomical regardless of circumstances.

 

Blankenship in the 7th should have been a no brainer

9 K over 36 games (32 reg season, 4 post season)
Might even be missing some guys given a shot during camps but all 9 of these guys were given the kicking job at one time over that stretch.

I can’t think this has ever happened over the history of the NFL in such a short window.

 

you’d think! Considering the kicking woes at the time - seemed too good of a fit.
