He played a big role in changing this culture. He just wouldn't fire his coordinator

JRob has made good moves as well as questionable ones, like all GMs. They are the ones putting in time to look at this prospects, team needs etc. Not us.

The Rice pick was critizied because we had bigger needs, WR and Edge. Edge was addressed with the Weaver pick in 4. What DE should have taken instead of Rice?

Drafted in Round 3 after Rice
    Perkins

    Drafted in Round 4
    Cameron Sample
    Everson Smith
    Chris Rumph
    Jordan Smith
    Janaris Robinson
    *Rashard Weaver

As far as WR, I think it should have been addressed earlier because I'm not sure Fitzpatrick or McArithmetic are immediate starters, which we need.
Unrealistic I know but I wanted Elijah Moore in 2
And then I think we shouldn't have traded with GB...stayed and picked Rodgers

GM is not an easy job with all the scenarios going on

We also don’t know what chatter GMs or scouts have among themselves. Since Fitzpatrick was apparently drawing attention to himself at the senior bowl, there may have been a threat to lose him. I’m sure JR was tired of seeing Wr after Wr picked ahead of him in the 2nd round and was ready to get one of “his” guys.

They didn’t get better. Their draft was a mess. Their WR core is worse than ours. They lost pieces on defense. We got a lot better on defense. Our offense will probably take a half step back, but we can fade that. The Colts literally had the worst off season of any team in the NFL when you factor available Cap Space.

Colts at 9-8 That could change is they spend money now after the draft. If they make a trade or 2.

    Jags 6-11

Texans 2-15 But I can see them going 0-17. This team will be lost for the next decade or more.

    Just my humble opinion

I agree with you in theory. Trading up in the 2nd to get a WR would have been ideal. But we don’t know everything that’s going on or why they didn’t, they maybe know where they are getting another WR. They know who will be cut or who they can trade for.

Very surprised they didn’t select a WR.
