What are we doing JRob?

Not a chance and completely ridiculous to believe that.

Where are all you guys who were scared about all the money the Colts have and the spending spree they were going on and how great they were and how wonderful their GM is? Outside of getting Wentz, which is a risky, the Colts haven’t done anything but lose players and sign backups.

The Titans will be fine. JRob has a plan and he is sticking to it, you can’t make a player sign here.

 

I posted this in another thread. There are a ton of veterans talent out there. Many of these players are wanting a lot more money than any team will offer. There are, as expected, too many players and not enough money. Eventually players will get desperate and will sign for very team friendly deals. Right now we are waiting for players to get desperate. When they do we will fill a few holes. Be patient.

 

Jrob was more active days 1 and 2 than I can remember the Titans ever being, got the big time pass rusher, some other solid starters and retained some key players yet fans whine because he didn’t overpay for an average receiver or sign another corner. I love it when fans try to be GM’s! only time will tell how these signings workout, but compared to previous years JROB was very active and with not much cap to spend either. I was impressed they actually signed players days 1-2 and for once happy not to have to wait until 2 weeks in for them to sign some no named players.

 

And I’m ok with that. We still have the draft and we’ll see where we get to with this defense. We got to 11-5 with AJ, Tannehill, and Henry with no defense to speak of.

Would love another vet WR and a vet CB... then we handle **** in the draft... some people are panicking, im really not... I think the Jenkins signing also isn't as bad as people think... I also read some covering stats and King wasnt even that good... We will be ok, its time for Fulton, Boarders and Hooker to step up

 

How would you feel if tomorrow we signed Mitchel Shwartz, TY Hilton, Keelen Cole, Sammy Watkins, Kenny Stills, Brian Poole, Quinton Dunbar, Richard Sherman, Melvin Ingram, Danny Shelton, Geno Atkins, Aldon Smith and Keanu Neal?

 

Like we were going broke and heading to cap hell we could never recover from... lol

JRob is being JRob...

He addressed our biggest need (pass rush) early with Dupree and Autry

we all agreed that Butler and Jackson were overpaid...we just didn’t have the guts to actually get rid of both...all of us were arguing which should get cut...well JRob did the right thing in not compromising and overpaying either...

JRob sets dollar amounts that he is willing to pay for a player and typically is not willing to go higher than his set price....I’m sure he would have loved to have Jonnu and Davis back, but not at those prices....he got Jayon back at a good price and he will replace our CBs at a fraction of the 24mil cap hit they would cost us

JRob knows that we have a huge hole at the #2 WR spot. He also knows that this draft is loaded with top end WRs...I really wanted Marvin Jones and would have paid what the Jags got him for but I would not have paid Golladay what he got...nor Corey Davis.

JRob isn’t perfect and no GM is but he has a system that he sticks with and he has certainly elevated the roster since becoming GM

We give Vrabel hell about giving no info during press conferences ...well JRob told us that he really wasn’t into restructuring contracts to push cap down the road and he has stuck to his word
