Franchise and Transition tags

    I think Davis gets helped by the fact that Robinson, Godwin and Golladay are going to get signed or tagged by their own teams. Hilton is old and about done. Smith -Schuster is his closest comparable. Both #2 WRs who need an strong #1 to succeed. But I think they both get contracts in the $12-13 per average. But truly in the NFL it isn’t about the per year amount it’s about the guaranteed money.

    $12 million per average sounds about right.

    I agree, but I think we will get CD for 10 per year...around the same as Tyler Boyd

    Godwin I can see re-signing with TB...not sure Robinson gets tagged, that situation doesn't seem to be a good relationship.

    So that would mean the team trading for him gives up 1st round picks?

    Thats what I understood but just read it has happened before with picks not in the 1st.

    Meanwhile the salary cap comes in at 182.5 million, right where everyone else said it would be lol

    The tv deals still aren’t done and they just couldn’t wait much longer. NFL maintains leverage by setting the cap now. I am guessing a huge jump next year.
