Isiah Wilson done with Titans?

I like this idea. Trade him to a cash strapped team like the Saints or Eagles that would love someone on a rookie deal in exchange for an expensive veteran. Gimme Malik Jackson or Malcolm Brown and we’re done here.

A more likely trade is Washington for Kerrigan. But, I’m guessing maybe we swap a 5th or something, just use him to move up a few slots.

Kerrigan is set to be an UFA in 2 weeks when the new NFL year begins.

I also read where Malik Jackson and Alshon Jeffrey are guaranteed to be released as well, since their recent restructure would guarantee them 25 million in 2022 on the 2nd day of the 2021 NFL year. So don't be expecting a trade for one of them.

The guys we should target, imo, are Ertz, Gilmore, Dunlap, and NJoku. All of these guys are a little expensive, so we'd have to restructure them or restructure/cut/trade some other guys, but imo, they all have fits for this team.

Given J-Robs ties with NE, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Gilmore for Wilson trade.

 

A bagel for Wilson trade is a probable outcome. Really, you have to ask if going one more season with him is more valuable than a 7thish pick. You would need a face to face with him to determine that. I wonder what kind of conversations his agent has had with him? Those could be interesting.

 

I would think his agent is in damage control right now, his value is pretty low..his best bet would be show up, play properly and deal him next year if he doesn't want to be a Titan...otherwise I still say let him rot on the bench...that imo is worth more than a 6th or 7th

Forget letting a guy hold up a roster spot, if he doesnt want to be here screw him.

 

If we do move on from him, he is the undisputed biggest Titans 1st round bust. Hopefully, he will never lose that crown as I hate to see wasted capital like that.

 

Love Long...you can cherry pick any pick you want but how many 6-7 picks don't last? Cole McDonald was a 7th...more times than not they are cut anyways

Let him rot on the bench...he will be broke and then he will see playing in the NFL is a privilege not a right
