Edge Rushers

I've been messing with the draft network mock simulator a lot.

Tons of teams need edge guys. Whenever I take someone like Barmore in the first, or someone who is a great value really slips (Pitts, Parsons, Horn), none of their edge guys in the top 64 are there for us in the 2nd.

 

Not that mocks at this point mean much, but that is by for the lowest that I've seen him. Every podcast/radio show I've listened to starts talking about him around 7 and has him gone by 16.

 

I did see another one with him going at 17

 

Isaiah Wilson can give us a good character reference for Azeez

 

How do we feel about doubling up at edge rusher? Outside of round 1 a few guys I like are Rashad Weaver from PITT, Quincy Roche from Miami, and Chris Rumph from Duke.

 

High motor, meaning he tries hard.

 

At this point I say draft all edge, gotta hit on one

I remember in 2010 watching the draft and pacing back and forth hoping Jason Pierre Paul fell to us. 12...13...14... We were picking at 16 and I felt sure the Giants wouldn’t take him and he was as good as ours.
As you know, the Giants took him at 15 and we ended up with Derrick Morgan.
JPP has already accumulated 90 sacks and numerous pro bowls.
I still think about what could have been.
