I would love to see him succeed. Titans could use a huge offensive tackle. But so far, we could not imagine a worse first year in the pros.

I agree on many levels. First, hate to see a young guy just throw his life away, second, hate to see us throw a first rounder away, and finally, that big dude could have really helped down the stretch if had applied himself.

On a personal level, I hope he gets his crap together, with football or without.
On a professional level, I'm not sure he wants to play, which leaves the team in a tough spot

I think the virtual draft procces hurt us alot with this one.

I bet you that if Vrabel and Jrob saw him in person in a workout they would of have stay away.

Problem is, cutting our losses is $6.5m more expensive than just telling him to stay home and collect a pay check.

I have no idea with the current agreement what the Titans can do to get Panda in line. I know they can fine him for missing meetings, camps, etc. but not for partying.

Goodell can fine/suspend for "tarnishing the shield" but if he did that for every player filmed at a strip club, half the NFL would be suspended.

Looking at the cap hit the Titans will have if they release Panda, it makes more sense to reach out to his "people" who influence him. His family and agent should be able to explain how much he's leaving on the table in 4 or 5 years for the decisions he's making now.

JRob needs to offer to get him a psychologist, trainers, etc. after this season if he's willing to get himself right. If he's unwilling to improve himself, I keep him instead of releasing him just to ruin any future NFL career he might have.

I really think the ship has sailed on this kid. I think his getting trucked on that ST play reinforced his belief he can’t cut it in the big leagues. He’s turtling like Dodd and other guys. He was a mental midget to begin, now there’s just no way to convince him to believe in something unseen. Should’ve been pick up on before we invested in him. Some scout needs to be served up the way Lake Dawson was after the Dodd failure.

You might be right. Maybe getting put on his ass during that field goal killed any self confidence he may have had. Still need to keep the kid around for cap purposes.

With the money already on the line, the Titans need to do everything they can to help this kid succeed. Ultimately, he has to want it and do it. So far, all indications are that he is a failure. I think they have to give him another year but again, he has to want to put in the work or we have seen his high point in the NFL.
