If the season ended today, we would be playing the dolphins at home round 1. Sounds nice to me. I'm hoping the raiders can steal that last spot from the colts. Very real possibility that we end up with a Colts or Browns rematch in round 1.

This is all assuming they dont add a week 18 bc I believe they are adding the 8th playoff team if that happens. Which is fine by me. Would rather the Steelers/Chiefs not have a bye.

I don't think we're catching the Steelers or Chiefs for top 2 seeds. Here are the rest of the schedules:

    8-3 Titans: Browns (W), Jaguars (W), Lions (W), Packers (L), Texans (W)
    8-3 Bills: 49ers (W), Steelers (L), Broncos (W), Patriots (W), Dolphins (W)
    8-3 Browns: Titans (L), Ravens (L), Giants (W), Jets (W), Steelers (L)
    7-4 Dolphins: Bengals (W), Chiefs (L), Patriots (W), Raiders (L), Bills (L)
    7-4 Colts: Texans (W), Raiders (L), Texans (L), Steelers (L), Jaguars (W)
    6-5 Ravens: Cowboys (W), Browns (W), Jaguars (W), Giants (W), Bengals (W)
    6-5 Raiders: Jets (W), Colts (W), Chargers (W), Dolphins (W), Broncos (W)

It works out well for us that the Steelers and Chiefs fighting for that top seed. Could mean they play starters all 17 weeks and we have a chance to rest guys week 17.

If I am unbiased and every team plays all starters for all the weeks this is how I think it would end up.

    Titans 12-4
    Bills 11-5
    Browns 10-6
    Dolphins 9-7
    Colts 9-7
    Ravens 11-5
    Raiders 11-5

    1st/2nd Steelers/Chiefs
    3. Titans
    4. Bills
    5. Ravens
    6. Raiders
    7. Browns

    Big Games Left on Schedule:
    Titans Browns (Week 13)
    Bills Steelers (Week 14)
    Bills Dolphins (Week 17)
    Browns Ravens (Week 14)
    Browns Steelers (Week 17)
    Dolphins Chiefs (Week 14)
    Dolphins Raiders (Week 16)
    Raiders Colts (Week 14)

Got to take care of business this weekend. I do see a scenario in which we could rest some players week 17 given us holding the head to head tie-breaker over the Bills, Ravens...Browns with a win Sunday

I really hope that the Browns actually beat the Ravens and that the Ravens don't make the playoffs. I do not want to face them again.

Don't want to speak too early, but the Titans are playing well and looking to finally get over that 9-7 hump.
I think 11-5 will win division and they still have to show up for the games "assumed" as wins. First beat the Browns, but Detroit, Houston and Jax are "should be wins" which the Titans have had some let downs in the past.
The Jax game may not matter and from a tie-breaker standpoint, the Packers and Lions games would have the least impact if they lost.

Too early to worry about this, there may be a team added, we don't have the division locked up.

On another note, the Steelers are maybe one of the most fraudulent #1 seeds I've ever seen this far into a season. They're string of good fortune to get to 11-0 is incredible, and they just lost bud Dupree for the season.

Story of the Steelers franchise. If it's not an Immaculate Reception or a Mike Renfro TD called incorrectly, it's a generous spot on a Big Ben "TD" run or a mind boggling Kurt Warner throw over the middle (instead of Fitz fade) and no calls for illegal blocking on a 101 yard TD return.

If the Vikings are the most "snake bit" franchise, the Steelers are the opposite end of the spectrum. Easily the luckiest team in the league.

So true. I may have luckiest teams ranked like this:
    1. Patriots
    2. Steelers
    ......
    31. Vikings
    32. Saints

Wish the team didn’t lay an egg against the Bengals, and hand the first game to the Colts. Pittsburgh has an easy schedule the rest of the way they will probably win out, unless Rottenburger goes down. I’m not worried about them being a threat, but I don’t see KC losing multiple games so we may be stuck where we sit now that is if we take care of business on our end!

For us to catch the chiefs we would need them to lose 2 more AFC games ...they have Denver, Miami, and Chargers left ....don’t see that happening unless Mahomes goes down
