First and foremost I can’t thank you u enough for the thoughts and prayers for my family and myself this week. I’m also celebrating a bday here which u guys know as well and helped send a bday gifts to me. That means so much to me, made me even tear up yall. @Statz916 Didn't know you lived in CA. Where abouts? I just moved to SD early this year, but should be back early next year from deployment.
Oh, yea, we're not close at all. Only drove through there once on my way to SF for a weekend. SD seems like an alright place but I only got a short time before I had to deploy and the COVID stopped everything before I left. I lived in the Oxnard/Ventura area for a handful of years in the 2000's and enjoyed it but it helps knowing the Navy is paying for my stay. Once I retire, no chance I'm staying in CA.
