You could be right. I just remember Kendall Wright being a YAC machine at one point, and put up okay numbers despite never getting to play for a capable QB

 

I don’t remember him being a YAC guy, I just strictly remember him being on the ground a lot with no contact.

 

I remember kendoll doing a whole lotta nothing

 

Also didn't cost us a first round pick.....thats the biggest thing

 

He did hit 1k, which at the time, was a big deal for our WRs. But AH is pretty clutch on 3rd down and I’m extremely glad we have him here.

 

He did a lot of tripping over his own feet.

 

The year he had 1k yards, the coaches let him run his route however he wanted as long as he was in the right spot when he needed to be.

When whizensuck came, Wright had to learn how to run routes like a WR is supposed to.

Thats why he looked good in the 1k year then never got back to it.

I remember reading an article where they used the phrase "street ball"

 

I remember that now.

Says a lot about a team just letting a guy run wild like that.

 

Kendall Wright was a quick twitch lil fatty that could only run street routes. Stupid pick on our part.
