Yes, Patrick Mahomes does torch every secondary, but he was picking on one corner in particular throughout the entire contest. Logan surrendered nearly 1,000 receiving yards last season the most on the team by 300 yards, a lot of those were big plays where he just couldn't hang reminiscent of Butler's first season. Don't get me wrong Logan was up to par when he could contest a ball, the main issue was he couldn't even stick close enough to a lot of receivers to contest because he got flat out torched.

He was also the only one to play 16 games last season, next closest was AJ25 at 11 games.
if you’re referring to the Chiefs game, I’ll again point out the fastest WR Corp in the league, THEY (not just Mahomes) torched everyone.
I conceded that Ryan shouldn’t be covering top WR (which he was forced to multiple games last year due to injuries) but he still would be an excellent #3/slot corner, just not for the price. He’s asking for borderline #1 DB money.

    • He surrendered the most receptions (80) of any cornerback in the NFL last season, a full 10 more than second-place Justin Coleman of Detroit.

    • He surrendered the most receiving yards (940) — and the most yards after catch (426) — of any cornerback in the league.

    • He surrendered six touchdown passes during the regular season, tied for eighth-most in the league among corners.

    • In terms of strictly slot coverage, Ryan led the NFL in snaps with 448 but also surrendered the most receptions (68), receiving yards (758) and yards after the catch (356).

Why did the Titans let Logan Ryan walk? Take a deep dive...

Theres a reason we moved on. He was good for us for a few years. Last year was not one of those years.

I think he proved to be an elite 3rd CB, and a very bad #1.

He’s a great pass rusher. That’s why everyone thought he was so good.

except I want my CBs to be able to cover.

he could be a really fine safety.

He had historic production the first half of the year, basically as a safety.

When he was forced into more of a traditional cornerback role, he struggled.

Yes. at this point in his career, he would benefit moving to safety. or staying a rover type cb role.

The moment he was asked to be something he was never meant for, he got exposed. The defense truly missed Malcolm.

I think Brock came in and played as good as anyone can as a guy off the streets mid season, losing Malcolm Butler didnt kill the D like Logan just standing around watching the Chiefs game, and the games that led to that game.

Im happy Logan Ryan was a part of our history tho, dude was a legit player most of his career here, and an even better guy.

Ill tell you this much, at least he didnt burn us as so many former Titans DBs have, it was mostly a good time watching Logan play.
